    USS Fort Worth Update : This weekend I learned that you CAN put parts glued with Tamiya cement in the freezer overnight and with a little gentle xcto knife prying, you can get them apart without any damage to said parts! So I was able to fix my mistakes (don't model when you're sick) on the gun battery sub assembly! I also got the bridge painted and assembled, the hanger painted assembled, dirtied up and installed, lower hull primed and started on paint, and also started putting in the microscopic photoetch brass tie downs on the flight deck! Man that's stressful! Here's the pics!

    I think those birds look awesome! Great job with the restoration! I have an old crappy Star Destroyer kit I will someday redo. Back as a kid I airbrushed it neutral grey and dotted yellow paint around it for lights.

    Anyone who owns the Yamato Caveliers Valk can attest to the fact it DOES NOT look like those promo pics! It basically almost looks black on a shelf in normal room lighting.

    gawwwd...PLEASE NO!! Re-do the TV show properly and I'd be ALLL in! One of my all time favorite fighters was the Buck Rogers Starfighters! I can't imagine seeing those maybe a tiny bit updated and in CGI! Erin Grey was like my first crush!!!!

    @Slave IVNope, factory sealed. I already have the white Audi spyder, so I almost overlooked it. @sh9000 - I don't think anyone would go to that much trouble for a .99 Hot Wheels this new in a random Kroger in a not great part of town...I'm gonna chalk it up to a COVID era factory error.

    I unmasked my impulse grills today...window screen mesh and orange lighting gel did the trick to get a nice honeycomb effect!

    Growing up in the 80's and being a HUGE Voltron fan, I remember seeing that toy in the stores as well and being like "uhhhh WTF is that?". Never wanted it as it didn't have a cartoon attached to it! The vehicle Matchbox Voltron though...I begged and pleaded with my mom until she got me all three sets...which I still have today. The size of the thing is still epic. Makes the SOC one look a little puny side by side.

    I've been watching this series since Robowreck in 85, on all formats and on a lot of different TV's. Not once did I EVER think her armor was anything but red. Just my .02.

    Watched the first episode with the wife, she's out..LOL. I'll watch the 2nd one I guess...we're both Marvel fans, but man, I hope they go somewhere with this sooner than later....
