    Ok, thanks @borgified. I'll hold off for the TV lineup if they ever do it. I've convinced my wife to watch TNG with me, and were up to Season 5. She falls asleep about 1/2 the time, but she's getting into it more than I thought she would! I think I could talk her into the main characters at the EXO-6 price point.

    Ok....Yeh, If it was his Season 4-5-6-7 TV uniform, with his jacket he occasionally wore on screen, I would be ALL in! I love the face sculpt!

    @Mintox - Perhaps just posting your work in the "What's Lying On Your Workbench" thread instead of starting a separate thread just for your current model would be a better and cleaner approach.

    @Mechtech - DEFINITELY go Tamiya for spray paint for models. They have a couple of great sandy colors. Never go Krylon IMHO. I love the Rust-O-Leumm spray paints, but it lays down thick and takes a long time to cure. For bases or light blocking it's great though.

    Runabout UPDATE! I got tired of trying to mix and airbrush an acrylic basecoat on a model this size. Sorry, don't have the time nor the patience! Congrats for those who can deal with acrylics on a large scale. I can't. So the Tamiya AS-16 USAF Light Grey spray can came out and bam - base color DONE! I'm happy to report the Runabout is now ready for what I call "the FUN part"! Detail painting (with Tamiya acrylics, great for that!) decals, weathering, etc! NO MORE putty, priming or sanding! Thank GOD! Already started on the bottom yesterday afternoon. Gonna need lots more Tamiya 18MM tape! This thing is gonna look like a checkerboard of different greys eventually. Moving on!

    DHL came through with flying colors! Left box on porch without a signature as I requested. AE packaged well enough to suite me. TV Supers going on the 1J after dinner tonight! Good things come to those who wait!

    I really wish they'd gone the extra mile with the XL series and not just set the copier to 75% and hit go. Such a wasted opportunity. I don't have any as I just can't justify that price.

    Same here @mikeszekely! The thing about the 95 movie was it didn't take itself too seriously! It was just fun...something that has been utterly lost in modern hollyweird. I can still watch it today when I come across it on some random cable channel and be like "cool, Mortal Kombat is on"

    Well, if Macross Zero is your jam, (it isn't mine), then I don't think Bandai Pre-Order BS shenanigans will put anyone off an Arcadia product as their pre-orders do not create any drama. Which is nice....They are pricey, but it's a niche of a niche so whatever floats your cheerios as they say...

    @DobberI've always loved the "Nebs" because you just know the model makers were told "Hey, we need a ship in like 3 days!" and they took an old D model kit, some spare parts from something else and a saw and went to town!

    Loving the E shots @pengbuzz!!! Over here, the Runabout puttying, sanding is going well, just have a few very faint light leaks to deal with on that main seam before final painting. In the mean time, my attention is turning to the base for this thing. I'm thinking that this graphic, printed on glass, (my brother in law owns a print shop and he can do that!) , glued to a wooden base painted with black spray paint with little shiny silver bits in the paint that kinda looks like a star field. Thoughts?

    I'm really digging most if not all of the STO ship designs. SO much better than STD IMHO. I pre-ordered the refit Enterprise F.

    I have a delivery date from AE from DHL for Thursday this week for my TV Supers. DHL texted me a link this morning for if I wanted to have them waive the signature requirement and leave it on my porch. I chose yes. We'll see how that plays out.

    Got a shipping payment request for TV Supers from AE last night. 4791Y or $44.56 USD - There is NO other choice. Ouch. Hopefully things are cheaper by the time the VF-1D/Fan Racer have to ship.

    @peterLOTS and LOTS of trial and error my friend! I looked back at my Google photos the other day and realized I've been working on this (slowly, admittingly) since about the 1st of September last year! Time flies! EDIT: Now that I've done it, honestly, the lighting is NOT the hard part, I'm not scared of that anymore. It's the designing and getting the custom interior to fit in that took the time on this one (not to mention the absolutely atrocious fit of the kit)
