  1. Nice! I heard/saw my first harrier back in the day at an air show with my dad. It was hovering and is still pretty much the loudest thing I've ever heard! Ohh we're going weathered on the Monster me thinks.
  2. Big guns are done...making some good progress with this guy over the holiday break
  3. Same here! Got my volumes 4-7 from Amazon Japan today! They don't all match, but whatever..Merry early Xmas to me!
  4. Ok...to much Ford love around here. Meanwhile!...over at Chevrolet... https://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/2015-chevrolet-corvette-z06-review--america-s-650-hp-super-car-beater-201316475.html Thing is a BEAST! 0-60 2.whaaaaa???
  5. I bought the Paasche medium size one that "folds up" for storage a few years back. I have it out on my garage workbench and never move it. It's ok, but the price was kinda steep for what it is. All things being equal, I wouldn't buy it again. I would get a larger more industrial unit or build my own.
  6. aaaaand....now we have a green Monster! However....with the announcement of the Bandai Hi Metal 1:100ish scale Monster coming out...honestly I'm starting to wonder if this model will have been worth my time and effort!
  7. Sunny and 70 today! Yup! We're at the paint bench down here in Tejas! Hopefully last primering of Mr. Monster before some paint later today or this week and direct sunlight spoon color test of orange and dark green for King Crabulon
  8. That's one awesome Tomcat! Great job!

    Hi-Metal R

As I treat all my Yamato and Arcadia valks like expensive models and basically never touch them, I'm ALL IN for these bad boys to actually PLAY with!!!
  10. I need to stay away from this thread...
  11. Thanks! My CC statement needed to hear that!
  12. So this f*cking bullsh*t happened today....was moving the diorama and the Invid fell off and hit the tile floor. Not a good moment. What really sux is some of the paint chipped off all the way down to the resin, that's gonna be damn near impossible to fix. FML *update---after getting some sleep and taking a look, I think I can put Humpty Dumpty back together again. All the parts that came off broke at the connection point, nothing snapped irregularly, so all in all...could have been worse! My own stupid fault for not moving the Invid separately from the diorama.
  13. my GOD man....you certainly have restraint!
  14. and on that note.....just ordered volumes 4,5,6,7 of 2199 from Amazon Japan. No Arcadia VF-0D for me.
  15. Oh yes...there is...it's completely redone with new special effects like TOS was. I bought the teaser disc that came out with Farpoint and a couple of others...it's absolutely gorgeous. http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=star+trek+tng+blue+ray&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=34209931307&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=13936305720483526248&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_8vzmfaia52_b
  16. man am i glad I got Yamato's original version. Way cheaper and will still be easily distinguished from Arcadia's.
  17. I've got that kit in my to be built pile...as much putty and sanding as I'm having to do with my Monster, I'm not looking forward to the Spartan! Your's is looking good though!
