Slowly sanding and priming the rest of the SDF-1 kit... slowly but surely so I don't screw up any other parts. I hate this part.. doesn't ever feel like I'm making progress on seam lines on these old kits.

See....I wouldn't. For the simple reason that I don't believe any company will ever delve as deeply into the line as Yamato did with the 1/20 ver 2. There were some releases that I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever see in toy form.

I hate to break it to you, but unless you are willing to be up very late at night and be very fast, but mostly just lucky at the exact moment of release, you will probably not secure any of the DX Valks. Sometimes a few pop up after the pre order closes, I would suggest checking this thread religiously and signing up for Figinstock to have the best chance. I didn't think I would get a Drakken, but thanks to the helpful people here, I got one well after the initial preorder window closed.

Yes, mad props to Jenius for his website....my Macross/Mospeada spending is absolutely in the thousands because of him...wait, actually I think I despise him. Kidding obviously, but he definitely is my go to source for transformation videos of mecha I don't do often enough to remember i.e. Beagle bikes and FV-17/171s/27s

Yes, after reading up apparently I need to get some Tamiya Lacquer Thinner, it won't melt things...I had used the other stuff on a small something but it was on a newer kit and didn't affect the plastic I don't think.
