    I've never seen an MI movie in the theater, but I do enjoy them at home usually. 3 being my favorite. And it has to be said that Cruise does do all his own stunts and that is really him flying the chopper, I saw a clip somewhere that said the safety guys were freaking out because he wanted to push the envelope for a certain mid air scene. Dude's got a set. Respect.

    Wondering if there would be a decent enough amount of us old timers who have the Beagle bikes that would justify a 2nd run, as we would love the same juicy extra bits and bots that are going to made for Sentinal bikes... Cap? In other words, the parts in 1:10 scale.

    GREAT pics Saburo! I still can't believe Arcadia frosted the bridge glass when they flat coated them. Rookie mistake. . There is some nice detail hidden behind there on the Yamato version.

    The 01 and 02 came with the PE parts that someone here sold me along with the glow in the dark stickers that were originally sold with the 1:3000 kit version.

    I feel like I should chime in here. This is my Yamato SDF-1 from the original release. What I did was panel line it with Flory's, and then take scrap water slide decals from Star Wars kits and whatever else I had lying around and cut them into little bitty pieces with my x-acto knife and stick them all over the ship. I later added the PE parts--but those were waaaaay more trouble than they were worth honestly, and just break off if you handle it to much, especially getting it in and out of a curio cabinet. So .... does it look better than the Arcadia Christmas Tree version? ?? I'll let you be the judge. For the price I paid, and a few hours of work, I did not go for the Premium Finish.

    I was already pissed that the cutting wheels I bought with my WeCheer mini grinder tool didn't fit in the collet, so I was using my bigger dremel to carefully cut off the extra resin off the cockpit parts and I sat it down and the tension on the power cord pulled it over just enough to touch my Ipad screen before the wheel had completely stopped turning. Spider cracked my screen all the way across. I just sat there in utter stunned disbelief. It still works and really isn't that noticeable when you are watching..just sucks.

    Got some work done on the cockpit parts and pilots for the Cat's Eye today. All it cost me was a cracked iPad screen...

    The Yamato VF-17's should have a warning label on the box.."YOU WILL BLEED" -- in the deep Battfleck voice. because every time I have tried..it draws 1st blood, that being said...it still doesn't make me want to hurl it at high speed into a wall like the Bandai offerings.
