It's a toy, not the cure for cancer. Is this guy an actual friend or just a neighbor? It seems odd that you can't just walk over and talk to his wife to get your package either way. I mean, how's he going to stop you if he's out of town? just sayin.... I would be thankful there was someone to sign for it and it didn't go back to the post office or on the delivery truck and end up God knows where..because I've had that happen, and it's NOT fun trying to track down your toy especially with a weekend around the corner.

GOOD TIMES!!! I remember my Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp from when I was a kid! They actually came with two different size plug in for the spring loaded release missiles, the longer ones you have, and the stubby, rocket pod looking ones as well. Man.....toys have come a LONNNG way since then! That's not an original is it? I don't remember a Megatron gun with the original G1 release....

Same here on my FineMolds 1:144. Bandai's decals for color areas just don't work very well in my experience. Better to mask and paint. Lot more trouble, but better result in the end. It looks like you got them to conform pretty darn well to all the surface details though! Maybe darkening up the whole thing a bit with light coats of Tamiya Smoke would do something? Careful though, I almost went overboard with that stuff once...LOL. And then add some dirty grimey looking weathering around it? I mean it is supposed to be a very old beat up ship!

Shipping overseas is very expensive these days, I recently shipped a Valk to Australia and also that guy shipped a little tiny part from there to Florida for me and it wasn't cheap either..basically $65 for the Valk to get there in about 10 days and $18 for the tiny part to come to the US. So $60 from Canada to the UK for that size box sounds about right. Also for what it's worth, Cap's stuff is worth it. VERY good production of kits and parts. However if you've never built any resin kits, I would advise against the purchase, or buy it now, but practice on something else first. Trust me.

One almost shudders when one thinks what Bandai might do to a new YF-21 to put their "spin" on that.....

Having done 3 differing sizes of Falcon models, I can tell you that they are not easy to get the primary color down on evenly because of all the funky angles and greeblies. The orange peel problem is one I don't have very often anymore as I reluctantly learned NOT to paint when it's really humid..which in north TX, it often is. Temperature and humidity are a lot bigger factors than I think people realize when painting. The distance of the airbrush to the model and the thickness of your paint mixture as well as your air pressure all come into play. We all know ..it's NOT as easy as it looks!!! Painting my 1:32 toy mod Falcon and event the FM 1:72 was a daunting task. The finishes didn't come out perfect, but good enough as it is a Falcon and you're going the weather the crap out of it! @electric indigo and @wm cheng are two of the best painters regularly on the forums, they might be able to chime in with some more tips EDIT: Concerning gloss coats...Here's my advice..this is what I did...STOP trying to be the guy who airbrushes it! Whether it be Future/Testors/whatever..Pay the $$, buy the Tamiya TS Gloss coat spray cans and spray can it. The stuff is GREAT. The Flat Coat as well. It ain't cheap, but it just straights works better than anything else I've found. Two good even coats, let it dry and go to town with weathering, washes, decals whatever. Others may disagree, but that's what I do now!

Well....it's not often that I give up.. but the time has come to put away the Cat's Eye for a few weeks or months. I don't know how to get the canopies right, and it's just sitting here, I'm not working on anything else and it's driving me nuts... so, I'm taking a break for now. I'm going to do a couple of fun things that I got for free with Amazon reward points! I'm keeping my eye out for the B-Wing to hit our shores and I'll pick that up for sure.

No there isn't, and frankly that's a bit worrisome to me. I was looking through old pics on my tablet last night and it was just about one year ago that the Defender's Destroid came out. I'm starting to seriously wonder if Bandai is going to complete the line, or do any other enemies. It's not looking good at the moment...

Just peel off with fingernail or toothpick. Or a new shiny #11 XActo blade, then just a tiny of windex on a Qtip to clean off the goo should do the trick.

Xigfrid is truly a talented individual, one of the best I've ever seen since I've been on MW. While I didn't get this amazing aircraft, I do own his 1:60 Ghost X9, and it is amazing as well. Acradia should hire this guy to design the rarer Macross aircraft and then produce them. I can only imagine the result!

Which is funny, as my VF-11C didn't sell here, and I wasn't gouging...had to resort to Ebay to get it sold. The 11B went faster at asking price.

Call me crazy, I still like the Arcadia 19 the best. It's very good. If it weren't for the stupid ankles and wings not being more secure because of the stupid High Speed mode no one wanted, it would be great toy.
