  1. I'm pretty sure they'll have the F and P as regular release since Yamato doesn't stoop as low as Bandai when it comes to making exclusives just to earn their cash. Sure, Yamato makes exclusives, but not as greedy as Bandai's way.
  2. Well, I don't think I'm screwed by that. It's something I don't attention to and I'm fully content with mine. I don't think it's even an issue. Anyway, I'll rest my case with my VF-1's wing.
  3. The toe joints on mine don't click and I don't think they do. What clicks in that area is the main metal shaft as you push/pull it out of the whole leg cavity.
  4. Here you go. I'm not sure if I just took the photo off-angled, but I'm pretty sure the VF's right wing is a little off higher by a very, very tiny bit. Like I said, I barely notice it and I find it negligible.
  5. If my hunch is correct, the improvement of the ankles mean you can move them even more without fear of dislodging them like on the Kai.
  6. One wing of my Max 1A TV too. Not that I'm complaining. It did look annoying when it was new and I kept noticing it, but now I don't even bother.
  7. I think the "force" enough to dislodge the ankles is when you try to move the ankles forward/backward to pull off an aggressive Gerwalk. That means pushing the foot more than the angle allowed, which was shown here. Like the others, I do want the VF-17 to have ratchet ankles. But if they don't, I wouldn't complain a lot either since chances are they are already fixed like on the 19S. Seeing that Yamato's addressing the issue on the 19S, they would probably discard the initial ball-joint design on the Kai and use the better one for the rest of their releases, much like what they did with the initial crotch hatch and tinted canopies of the VF-1 v.2
  8. Sad. But then again, no matter how much I ponder, Yamato won't be making one as Graham said before. I guess the main cons of the other two Sound Force units is that they got molds that are hard to milk. Back on topic, I'll probably wait for reviews on this before purchasing just to make sure that I don't get any problems instead of risking breaking mine while trying to figure out Yamato's cryptic manual. I always did like learning to transform my VFs via online videos. In fact, I've never transformed any VF in my collection without an online guide.
  9. Having the VF-17 as tall as the Fire Valk doesn't concern me much since it's unlikely that I'll display them side by side in Battroid. I know this is a bit off topic, but I'm more concerned when I saw pics before of a VF-11 MAXL being way too short in Battroid. I mean, like less than 3/4 of a VF/YF-19's height.
  10. Not really sure about getting the Fast Packs since they somewhat deter me when it comes to Fighter mode (which would probably be my preferred mode of display). But then again, it's too early to say anything.
  11. Initially, I just wanted Max's units since I liked blue fighter mechs. But since I love Macross 7, I'm now expanding through that series. Now I'm even wanting to jump into Hikaru's 1J and 1S to complement my Minmay figures (plus the fact that he's the hero). I have also given up other toy lines just to collect these, namely my Figma and SH Figuarts collection. I always thought that a single glance at my Valks never seem to grow old compared to playing around with small action figures. And like the others said, I do seem to want the gray goggle version more since it's a later (and safer) release, and it does have a special feel to it over the first release.
  12. Glorious. As far as Fighter mode is concerned, I'm sold. Though I'll have to wait and see if there would be any issues (knocks on wood). I hope the two other modes would look awesome too.
  13. For me, I would prefer the 1S variant a little more since I like the asymmetry of the cannon and fast packs, plus I love DYRL more than the anime series. I would also recommend the VF-1J, just that I would want one having the GBP armor parts instead of the fast packs.
  14. Well, Graham did say the gun would have an internal storage but it won't be 100% show accurate. I'm fine with that rather than having to stow the gun away somewhere like my VF-22S.
  15. Does the Yamato Mighty Block stand hold this one well in Battroid with the Sound Boosters? Or is the stand too short that straightening the Battroid's legs would still have the feet touching the base?
  16. Mine on Battroid with Sound Boosters needs to do some balancing on the gait of the legs and some thigh twists but it still holds up pretty well. Anyway, mine's on Fighter and I plan to get another one if ever I'd do a Battroid mode for display (and not try to "explore" on the posability so the ankles stay tight).
  17. Great Gerwalk, Actar. I supposed yours still has the tight ankles?
  18. Macross II could have been awesome to me if Silvie had seen more action near the end and the thing that happened to the Macross didn't happen.
  19. Fighter mode is really getting to me plus the fact that Gerwalk and Battroid look awesome too. I'm really curious if the legs wouldn't be going too upwards in Fighter mode like nitpicked about before.
  20. I think I would be okay even if the gunpod storage isn't 100% accurate to the show. The fact that such a huge gun could fit inside is already a feat.
  21. I would have preferred that Yamato release a real colored prototype since a CAD isn't anything to be gaga about after all of us have seen the Kai. I do have some reservations about getting this, though, since I just saw that the 17 is due release on December.
  22. I transform my toys when they're newly bought to see how they look in all modes. Then the next few transformations would probably be related to taking photos for posting in my Multiply. I had more transformations on my VF-1 v.2's since I got a new camera after I got them which prompted me to reshoot my whole Valk collection. But that's pretty much it. I love Fighter mode, and I leave them at that. Another reason for choosing Fighter mode is because I used to collect Zoids and the free cabinet space I have doesn't have much vertical clearance but very deep (for those long-tailed Ligers), which makes them perfect for Fighter mode display with risers. So yeah, I'd say five transformations is a lot enough. I could probably go more than that in some cases of newer molds, so my first 1/60 v.1, my first 1/48 among others had more transformations that their brethren.
  23. I'm still trying to figure out if this was an illusion or the arms actually too far away from the chest. However, I won't try to get ahead of myself because of a CAD.
  24. If Graham says it's around late October to early November, I would be expecting photos to pop up around the start of October, which means it's around two weeks away. This is just my big hunch, though.
