I love those head shots. So they are indeed slimmer, since I thought the first few photos they looked too big.

I don't think it's really sure if the super parts are to be only released as a bundle. And they're unlikely to be exclusives. This is Yamato, not Bandai.

Thanks for pointing out. Well at least now I find it reasonable for them to release it bundled. Still not liking the packs though.

I don't like the fast packs much. I wish they'd release the 17D without them too. Has there even been a 17D with fast packs in Mac7?

Well, I have found two good reasons for the first release not being Hikaru's unit. 1. Any possible issues that the game version may sustain can be fix in the next release (which could be Hikaru's unit most likely). 2. They can opt to release Hikaru's unit as a NON-EXCLUSIVE version.

I do have a hunch that they would at least reissue the super/strike parts. Like you guys said, almost every Valk in DYRL was seen having them and it would be unreasonable for Yamato not to re-release them. They should already know by now that a majority of collectors prefer having the super/strike parts. Others can just keep or re-sell theirs if ever they find themselves having too many.

I wish they would reissue the super/strike parts. The only set I've got here is on my VF-1A Max and I've already stickered the blue skull logo. If I do get that 1S Hikaru I still have to wait ages for a chance to get the super/strike parts. It's too much to ask, but I wish those skull logos aren't stickers but some sort of plastic chips that you can interchange so I can easily put them in other Valks for a quick photo. Just kidding.

This is great. To think that I've been wanting a cannon fodder 1A DYRL recently. Not to mention that I still have yet to get a VF-1S Hikaru.

Just a question related to the VF-1A Cannon Fodder here. Did it ever have a TV and Movie version, or was there only one version of it released? Just wanna confirm which version is it just so I don't buy the wrong FP set for it.

^ well I am also waiting for a 19P but I busted my money on other toys that I collect. I think we're still pretty safe since it hasn't been announced yet. Besides, it seems you got yourself a nice big loot.

Just a question, guys. When you place the gunpod in the Battroid's hand, do you always force it to be snug fit with the tab in the gun's handle and the index finger well inside the trigger housing? I noticed mine has a very slight stress mark on the index finger while trying this whenever going into Battroid. Though it doesn't seem to stress anything when I keep the index finger out of the trigger housing.

Since I'm one of those Max Jenius fans, I just want to try and get the 1J since I don't have any VF-1 Hi-Metal yet. Then again, it's a web exclusive and I'm more inching towards Roy's 1S. Believe me, I still don't own a single Roy unit as of today. XD

I love Hi-Metal too. I just wish that Bandai had opted for other Valks instead of trying to milk the VF-1 design. IMHO the price one would have to pay for the VF-1 exclusives and their fast packs somewhat ruined the Hi-Metal perk of getting near-Yamato quality for a cheaper price. The 19 mold could have had more recolors and that I would be willing to jump into, especially the VF-19F or even the 19P. So far I only have the Fire Valkyrie and the Sound Boosters and the Blazer. Still undecided if I should get the Fire Valkyrie option parts, which, as everyone says, should have been with the Fire Valkyrie in the first place.

My only piece of Macross clothing is an XL Fire Bomber T-shirt from Cospa. Was lucky to spot it in Amiami for 50% off since these licensed shirts really cost a lot, considering that there are other people who can make customized shirts for way, way less.

The only good thing from that is they could release a Hikaru one that's not a web exclusive. That is if Reivaj's hunch isn't wrong. Either way, it's something to look forward to. ^^

Thanks for reassuring me, guys. Though I seem to lean towards the VF-17D a bit more. I really can't buy each variant due to lack of space, but I'm sure to get one in the future. The VF-17, after all, was based on my favorite fighter plane the F-117 Nighthawk. Based on his posting ways, I think the member here who broke his VF-17 is the same one on the video. -

I can't even understand his Engrish on his page. Was that broken part supposed to be plastic or metal? Could he have turned the legs on a point when they weren't supposed to turn? I mean, you do have to pull those legs outwards before moving them, right? -
