  1. The Cardinal sin was planning a trilogy without actually planning a trilogy.
  2. I can recall a certain character that that was a complete monster that killed children, carried out multiple genocides, executed, and tortured prisoners that somehow got a redemption arc. 😆
  3. You're not really making a solid argument why it isn't a good idea. As you stated Dedra is a morally ambiguous character with a massive taint from her past actions who has had her entire world view shattered, lost her love, lost her freedom, and has been literally tossed aside like garbage by the entire thing she dedicated her life to. An unhinged thirst for revenge is a hell of a motivation, and lets face it Dedra is the type that would sacrifice a whole planet worth of Bothans to accomplish a mission especially if it means getting retribution against the establishment that she feels discarded her.
  4. Dedra redemption arc. Her getting inadvertently getting busted out of prison during a rebel prison break and joining the rebellion where her knowledge of imperial security procedures would be invaluable. Her losing everything as she has would give her a new understanding and value of Luthen's talk of freedom to her. It would also be fitting if her actions again have unforseen consequences with her being the one that sets the Emperor's trap into motion. Doubly so if she senses it's a trap, but gets shouted down because she's not trusted by someone like Klaya who would see the battle of endor as a final confrontation to end it all and fulfill her and Luthen's dream of a galaxy without the Empire.
  5. So Lego has a new "city tower" coming out that blends all their popular city lines P.D., F.D., construction, skate park, train, and on top is a launch pad with a small space ship from the new city/space line with a unique minifig in a white uniform. Is it worth getting just for the small spaceship if I have the rest of the line? Yes. Yes it is.😆 Now if only I had a friend in Europe that can send me those four or five city/space minifigs with builds that came in the euro lego magazine.
  6. Currently playing Chaos Galaxy II that just came out for the Switch. It's an old school turn based 4X space conquest game with grid based fleet battles. I got the first one for like four bucks on a whim and was shocked at how good it was and how in depth the tactics were, and this one is no different. The aesthetics of the factions are pretty hilarious to me. It's like the devs threw a history book and 80s pop culture in a blender together. We got factions that look right at home in Romance of the Three Kingdoms with the ships and mecha to match, a faction that is basically skynet, a faction that is the East India Company, Fremen from Dune that control space worms, Japanese Samurai pirates seeking to rebuild after their home planet got nuked, space ancient Rome, space ancient Greece complete with mythical heroes like Heracles, and finally space America with generals based on the likes Amelia Earhart(who pilots a custom starfighter), and Teddy Roosevelt.😆 Did I mention the Space Dragons? A faction that are basically the Tyranids that pop up from outside the galaxy and consume all the biomass of a planet rendering it uninhabitable and the more planets they consume the more generals and fleets they get and the harder they become to stop? The political aspect is pretty fun as well, as this is one of the few 4X games that lets you continue to play if you become a vassal to a larger power and can even regain independence if you want.
  7. Like how in Rise of Skywalker the Falcon hyperdrive hops between about 10 different planets that are nowhere near each other or even on the same hyperspace route?😆
  8. To quote them from the original Playstation game cut scenes... "We're covered in battle scars, but racking up experience! Promotion! Promotion! PROMOTION!"
  9. Super Robot Wars Y incoming!(With Macross!) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8eJxSCWPvdE&pp=ygUSc3VwZXIgcm9ib3Qgd2FycyB5
  10. Behold what my thread necromancy hath brought!
  11. Last time Boeing had a fighter accepted into service it was the P-26 Peashooter in 1932.
  12. All you need to know about Catseye is it's about three sister's who double as coffee shop owners by day and crime solving cat burglars by night Charlie's Angels style. That's all your really need to know. That and gratuitous 80s spandex workout montages.😆
