vf_1s
Hi guys: This is something that I did a few years ago, but never got around to take pictures of it. This was done before the there was a 1/48 hikaru Vf-1s, so this one is constructed from the body of a hikaru 1A and wings, head, and tail of a fokker 1S. enjoy! You can also check out my other thread on the build up of SHE VF-4G in the model forum. Vf_1s
big F
I really like the way you have laid out the weapons and pannels in the same style as the Macross plus This is animation Special. Great work. Did you get the brass tag specially made ?

Sumdumgai
That's pretty cool I couldn't bear to take apart any of my 1/48s though.
kensei
This is awesome. I love it! Very good work. Dude, may I ask what is that base made of and also where you got those gold tags done. You make it look like a museum piece that's worth thousands. Edited August 18, 2006 by kensei
Skull-1
I like what you have done...but as usual my critical nature comes out... Kawamori really overdid the flaps. There is no need for a double slotted inboard flap on the Valk. Keep it simple like the Hornet. There's enough complexity as it is. That being said... NICE work. It looks really good.
Scream Man
very cool man The flaps actually bug me on the 1/48s, they always flop around when i dotn want em too. So I cant see myself adding a second set. that said, nicely done It looks aeesome heh. its funny how most of the replies to u are asking hoe u did the base

Godzilla
Yeah I am interested in that as well. Those lifts are great to have dioramas. really awesome!May I ask where did you get the hydraulic lifts? 426167[/snapback]
vf_1s
They came with a model kit that I have for a tomcat. (F-14A Bounty Hunters by Fujimi) Totally agree with you, they are very useful in setting dioramas!
David Hingtgen
I knew I recognized those. Rather fiddly to assemble IMHO. For those wondering, ALL 1/72 Fujimi F-14 kits come with them--the Iranian markings one usually is the cheapest to get, check Ebay. And you get 2 per kit. They're actually engine carts.
