Thank you for your insights and opinion as always. With that, then I may be learning towards the Hi-Metal ones. I just wish they had a metal siren version. I love that one! Sad that we can't get a good perfect transformation screen accurate one. Funny. I used to write Macross II off, but you were the one here and on the old robotech boards, that made me appreciate it and in the end love it more. Thanks again Seto, appreciate you.

Its 2025.... where are you in the macross universe

The relative lack of demand doesn't surprise me. Between the 171's terrible history, and the Yamato VF-17 just existing, I can't imagine anyone really attached to that design is scrambling to pick one up.

Interesting. Wonder why?

Strangely, Bandai has come full circle and polycaps are becoming a thing of the past

I was afraid of that. I was hoping to suss out the valk's shoulder assembly status w/o transforming it just in case I decide to sell it MIB at some point. I guess I'll just list the pauldrons' assembly as "unknown" if I ever decide to sell it. It sure is a pretty valk, though.

Was able to prime and paint a few elements today. Then it’s onto glueing said parts within the armor, seam removal and priming more parts. Having to finish parts within unfinished parts is standard on these old kits. No poly caps. I found some mr color lacquers made for the Gundam Char mech which are the same scheme and will be perfect for the armor. I’m stoked!

Unfortunately it cannot be determined just by looking at the underside. It would need to be transformed into armless gerwalk mode (legs down) to reveal the sides of the shoulders at the very least.

I'm wondering if Japanese local stores still have it available (PO sales reflecting demand). (I'm aware the following ship internationally*) I checked Hobbysearch and the PO is sold out (while the VF19K is available), hlj still has the VF17S available, so does AmiAmi.

My Lucifer just arrived. Are the shoulders assembled incorrectly on all of the revivals? Can one tell just by looking at the underside?

I wonder if a lot of Japanese Macross fans are complaining about the DX VF-17S design?

Yet to actually take the Moshow out of the box and play with it.😅 But, so far I'd say the Sentinel.

If I have any choice in the matter, I'll be off world somewhere, either in the solar system or on one of the early colonies. In fact, I'd have probably been off world already even before the war. I've been staring at the sky and longing for the stars my whole life. As soon as it became possible in the setting, I'd like to think I would have jumped at the opportunity. - Yesterday

I can provide what is available from the Macross Delta Scramble game models, but I'm not sure how printer friendly they'll be. I'll try to extract the head tomorrow and save it to STL format. Scaling it as needed and making it compatible with the DX toy will be some work that one of you would need to do.

I think a significant portion of the weirdness comes from the fact that the nose of the 171 makes up a significant portion of the torso, which is just completely absent on this "17" version. There's just nothing there to look like it even connects to itself, and the legs are just left floating around the nosecone.

‘Heat 2’ Is On: Michael Mann Crime Drama

Interesting. I wonder if this is going to follow the book and jump timelines past and forward from the original movie. It could be good , if Mann gets the budget he needs. -

No; he'll devour them. Maybe they should call it Eat instead. -

Not sure why they even have to go there. Leo has been a bit chubby lately, is he just gonna roll after his enemies?
