  1. Hasbro (thank god!) has nothing to do with this, it is going to be a 100% made by Takara product for their market. Takara is not relinquishing anything or outsourcing toy making to another company here, it's just that they are also cooperating with other designers and implementing their different design aesthetics.
  2. This won't be considered as an addition to the original Timm-verse right?
  3. Takara is introducing a new label called "T-Spark" which will be focusing on high-end toys and model kits (think Bandai's Tamashii). They are somewhat going back to their roots by entering with non-other than Brave Exkaiser in the "Toyr!se" line! https://www.taghobby.com/archives/781917 (Start at 3:38 mark for Toyr!se)
  4. Takara is introducing a new label called "T-Spark" which will be focusing on high-end toys and model kits (think Bandai's Tamashii). As part of this label there will be a line called "Toyr!se" and it seems Takara has got some Scopedogs in the pipeline and in 1/48 scale – which sort of makes it like a spiritual successor to their earlier Actic Gear line! https://www.taghobby.com/archives/781917 (Start at 3:38 mark for Toyr!se)
  5. A bit surprised no one has reported on this yet, but Takara is introducing a new label called "T-Spark" which will be focusing on high-end toys and model kits (think Bandai's Tamashii). https://hjweb.jp/article/1505782/ For Transformers there is the new line named "Adamas Machina" which seems to be a collaborative line with other creators to bring their designs into physical form. These are going to be fully transformable and also have Chogokin in them. First entry is AMT-01 Hot Rod, which is based on the Flame Toys K3/IDW look, but perhaps more interestingly is that AMT-02 is going to be Predaking, a combiner that seems to be following the appearance from season three "Call to Primitives" episode (Studio OX). All of this might also explain why Takara decided to consolidate the MP line into MGP after MP-60.
  6. Nice, visor+face plate > mono-eye! This give me hope for Bandai making a complimentary VF-19S/F out of the Kai.
  7. Yeah, the attention to articulation and the innovative approach to it – like for example, the increased range at the hip joint and therefore omitting thigh or knee swivels – is really making the Plamax kit stand out.
  8. Some background to where this is coming from – it's part of a project named "Sunrise Robot Laboratory" which wants to further explore past Sunrise Mecha works, so not just limited to Dunbine. Wouldn't mind seeing something new for Dragonar and L-Gaim. https://gundamnews.org/sunrise-reanimates-aura-battler-dunbine-in-gorgeous-new-experimental-video
  9. Yeah... not feeling it, Battroid looks "stiff", there is no flair to it. The front feet are not right, the YF-19 has never had such strong incline towards the shin/ankle area. The Plamax kits will probably also kill this in the articulation department. I don't know, this all feels a bit too late from Hasegawa.
  10. I love the articulation Max Factory is giving to this kit so far, the one I'd like confirmation on is if it can pivot it shoulders forward for natural two hand Gunpod holding, because I hope we finally get to do this:
  11. I may be alone on this, but the legs on the HMR look worse compared to the previous version. It lacks the right contours, curvature and tapering towards the feet, making it look very "puffy" – the front part of the feet are barely visible and unsightly angular cutout along the inner legs is not helping it either. Also the arm proportions don't look right at all, they are reaching down to the lower legs!? Makes the HMR VF-19 look clumsy.
  12. Clearer images of MPG Super Ginrai and MP Ginrai have surfaced. Thoughts... So my previous assumption about the arms is obsolete, them sticking far up seems to be by Takara's design/engineering, Not great but I can live with it, as alt-mode is always secondary to me. Articulation for Super Ginrai seems weaker compared to core Ginrai and I wish Takara had come up with a solution to have the rear trailer wheels recess along the the feet instead of leaving it jutting out unsightly like that and breaking sculpt cohesiveness.
  13. I could be wrong, but from the tiny image it seems like the cab is not fully coupled to the trailer and maybe arms sticking so far up is a way to put in in stationary mode or something like that.
  14. MPG-09 Super Ginrai https://news.tfw2005.com/2024/03/29/mpg09-super-ginrai-first-look-507639 So Takara has essentially done a Missing Link but in reverse (anime version gets the trailer this time) and spread it across their two premium lines.
