Welcome to this thread topic.

Created exclusively to showcase the progress of my projects, models, and orders.

I'm Mekanimuss and I'll be uploading images of my work in progress.

Let's do this...

Posted

oohh - cool. Do you have a teaser or something?

btw: Mekanimuss sounds like "Mechanismus", the German word for "mechanism". Is that intended?

Posted

Mekanimuss is a name with 3 parts, Mecha+Anim (from animation)+USS from the final part of the famous series: Macross, Orguss and Legioss (mecha from Mospeada).

That is the compositional origin.

Update October 2025.

To date, I haven't been able to find a shipping service at a reasonable price. The only one is DHL, and it costs around 70 euros. But don't despair! I'll fix it and get a reasonable price.

On the other hand,
I've got a vacuum box and plan to try making a plastic container. I'm leaving you a photo of the 3D-printed model in bambooLab so I can later carry out the emptying process.

image.png.71d37055baacca97ea6e7b1058b6a981.pngimage.jpeg.966514c89c1f2a0c3afc18241c6a7d75.jpeg

Also, I've already printed almost all the kits.

I've also printed a 1:12 scale Lunk, a 1:12 scale Annie, and a 1:48 scale Lunk.

image.png.84d0353aa49abedbcf0dd0f46942a639.png

By the way, the connectors turned out great and will be included in all orders.

image.jpeg.9c3edaf59326c85e89aa8c2a3a87432a.jpeg

The boxes for packaging and some supplies for the painting part should arrive this week.

FOR THE MOMENT, AND UNFORTUNATELY, I WILL NOT BE TAKING ORDERS UNTIL JANUARY 2026.

I'm so sorry, but since this is a free-time job, I have to cover the orders that have already been placed.
If I manage to finish them early, I'll let you know here so I can resume orders.

Thank you all for your patience and trust.
Mekanimuss.

Annie is an order for one of you. I don't remember who exactly right now, but it's an order for a Lunk + an Annie 1:12 scale both.

I'm planning on creating a website to catalog all the models I have and the WIPs.

There will be surprises soon, including a filament printer. Stay tuned.

That’s very nice! Some 1/48 Inbit would be nice!

Mekanimuss,

Thank you for the update on the Tread add-ons and the plastic form container.  I look forward to my Annie and Lunk order, she looks great.  I do appreciate your time and effort in this endeavor and look forward to hearing more about shipping in the future.

Hello everyone!

We have the shipping boxes and the vacuum box!

Now, let's get a vacuum cleaner and try it out.

This week, some Tamiya supplies should arrive so we can move on to the painting process.🤩

Sorry if you discussed this already, but how did you make the hard point attachment pieces? Did you use a 3D scanner?

No, I never said that, no one asked before.

I model with a caliper, meaning I take measurements with a caliper and create a 3D model based on those measurements. Literally trial and error.

Generally, these small pieces come out in one shot.

But for example: I'm currently testing a new resin to print the articulated 1:48 Mospeada soldiers. And it's giving me quite a headache.

It's not ready yet 🥵

soon...

Hey everyone!

I apologize for the delay in my update, but let me tell you that I've made a lot of progress and the kits are turning out great.

I have some bad news: the blister pack I tried to make with the vacuum cleaner and the emptying box has failed. For now.
If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is this: I bought a vacuum box and the plastic sheets from Green Stuff World. It turns out the frame holding the sheets doesn't cover the entire surface of the box. So when I heat the plastic, it comes loose and it's a disaster!
For now, I've put it on hold.

Frame.JPG.3be2e02c61d9003cbcb9403cc2a5161f.JPG

On the other hand, some good news.

I bought a magnetic metal plate that allows me to peel off the 3D printed pieces much more easily.
IMG_7163.jpg.743b2af721d658a256f8e64f4f9c3b48.jpg

I'm now waiting for a sheet of decals for the yellow strips on the movable cylinder (picture below).
I've finished painting all the rifles and I'm applying the decals.

I've also finished painting the truck.
Next comes the varnishing.

IMG_7177.jpg.b27dfe3048f6354523e3b91700bf6cee.jpgIMG_7187.jpg.5d61dfc5ae082172ad4c25c35f3acf46.jpgIMG_7190.jpg.b938b1891859f6e4e522630528751165.jpgIMG_7195.jpg.8d9ae08d4a6ad2b2bb093bf120ff55d3.jpgIMG_7196.jpg.bf3e8bf8cb642524f5bfb6536bcaaa20.jpgIMG_7194.jpg.d981338dd56f57e7cf5ea29c5d05f71d.jpg

Let's get to the most important thing: shipping.

The shipping situation to the USA has not yet been resolved. Therefore, I will not send any payment links to anyone until this problem is fixed.

But don't worry, the kits will be finished and shipped to everyone.

I'll try to upload updates more often.

Thanks everyone!

Hello everyone!

First piece finished from all the orders I received! Then the driver needs to be painted.

JimTruck.jpg.0c85547c0bf70737cfa054a4d9470ec1.jpg

This truck is part of Darrin's order.

This week I'll finish the rifles gun, and then I'll move on to the missiles, which are numerous!

This Lunk and Annie 1:12 scale are part of Morgen Black's order:

I'll upload more photos of the rifles when they're ready, probably next weekend.

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Hello friends Mekanim-Userss!

Part of December:

Shipping News:
As you know, the shipping issue is still unresolved. However, I have found companies that ship to the USA: DHL and UPS, but they are expensive. As soon as I finish the kits, I will send each of you an email with the final cost so you can make the payment, using the cheapest option I can find at that time. This will be for next year (January/February 2026).

Kit updates:
I've finished printing almost everything. I'm still printing small missiles and the Holders. The rifles are ready. The large missiles are ready. The Addons for Legioss-Gun are ready. The extra models from some orders are ready.

Extra News:
I've started experimenting with some AI techniques, and I've gotten some great results. Currently, I haven't achieved results without my direct input, but let me show you what I got and what I subsequently had to adjust to reach an amazing outcome:

This is an original Mospeada line art design, Invid Protect.

image.png.2bb1b44f7eed14e5751e6089b41c7175.png

Gemini returned these images to me with a prompt of no more than 10 words.

image.png.75f59a8ae50ff510311889a4cdaf1c33.png

Then I used the Rodin (Hyper3D) app and obtained a model with these characteristics. Not bad mesh, but with little detail.

image.png.9e4be01d41740880ba87b9d876d05792.png

I said okay, this will speed things up. I rolled up my sleeves and in just 2 days, working in sporadic hours, I managed to finish the details and the joints.

Then I printed it at a 1:48 scale, the smallest scale for Sentinel-Toy. Here's the result in just two days:

IMG_7270.jpeg.f34d2590181c8c450376b5a646fe5080.jpegIMG_7275.jpeg.0acec232d8ab1d5f47d3509982c7a563.jpegIMG_7274.jpeg.d4ce5712fb22eb439fe71425b65bf2a0.jpeg

I plan to print it at a 1:12 scale!

I still need to adjust the joints, but it's just a matter of a couple of hours. I haven't made any more progress on this because I'm spending most of my free time finishing the kits.

But let me tell you, I'm obsessed with this technology. Here are some images I generated of some Mospeada designs:

IA Scott Bernard version

My Adapted version without Head and joints WIP (1:12 scale) I plan to make this Scott in 1:12 scale to use the extra head that comes with the SentinelToy.

I also plan to make this character RainyBoy (IA version) in 1:12 scale, since I've had the motorcycle modeled for a couple of years now.

This is my last post of the year, and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for supporting my projects and for your patience with the progress of the kits. I ask for a little more patience.

Happy 2026!

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I've heard anything.
Everything's fine here, back from vacation and getting back to work on orders.

Thanks for asking, Sildani.

Point 1. Regarding the orders, I'm still making progress with the missile printing (many - 30 units per kit). I need to get some strips of yellow decals for the final details on the rifles and then sort out the shipping to the USA. All the orders are about 70% complete; I'm almost finished.

The orders with extra characters and vehicles are already finished!

Point 2. I'm working on these new projects: 1:12 scale articulated bodies in civilian uniform for Scott (Stick), Rook (Houquette), Rand (Ray), and Yellow Dance (Belmont).

Scott is almost finished; I'm still adjusting the tolerances on the joints and then painting them. For Rook, I only have the model in progress.

image.jpeg.b8b8d9a70da8118e6e8cfeb65a7c2211.jpeg

Point 3. I've made progress with the 1:12 scale Synchrocannon project. This time I decided to switch from resin to filament. I've gotten better results. I made some parts in resin, such as the display case and the command handlebar inside of cockpit.

I'll probably publish it on bambuLab, I'll keep you posted.

image.jpeg.d5ba012102a4384c310d6808a9a037ae.jpeg

Point 4. I made progress on this project before Christmas Invid Protect. Like the Synchrocannon, I decided to print it in 1:12 scale filament (BambuLab), and the result was amazing.
I still need to adjust the joints and tolerances, but I think it's coming along very well. If the Synchrocannon does well on the BambuLab platform, I'll probably release this one too.

IMG_7318.jpeg.b48c9c6ec60f5d304b657fec09b8a0b0.jpegIMG_7299.jpeg.55e88b4ea53b89bd29425d310b4e6e04.jpegIMG_7298.jpeg.5a36ea5fd33bd530d78972ac7fac1f0c.jpegIMG_7297.jpeg.1e1f81fafff679158f6c3bff63eba0e3.jpeg

Point 5. I have many more Mospeada projects, but due to the number of kit orders I've received, I've had to put them on hold temporarily:

For example:
Vacuum-sealed plastic trays to protect the kits (VacumBox).
A vintage-style sticker album.
All the previously published figures made with AI (RainyBoy, Kor, Serah, etc.).
A short animated short using MOCAP, which would be a trailer for the next point.
A virtual tour with MetaQuestVR, where you can see and interact with all the models at real scale. It might even become a video game! A website to upload all this content.

VR Animation Trailer frame

VR Video Capture

Anyway, as you can see, there are plenty of ideas, but not enough time. I think it's time to ask for help. Or call the A-team with Mr T. I have more than 40 years old  😉

Greetings to all.

Mekanimuss.

Everything looks really good! What was the email for placing orders?

Gracias Saludos!
