I wonder if they're going to bother concocting a reason for the gang to be together again. Frankly, I'd rather they not, just have it be a standalone episode and let the fans figure out the canon if they really absolutely must do so.

Pretty much but I like Joe Keery and his Steve Harrington is my favorite character in Stranger Things.

I think it was just too many people harping about the SW sequels, and that's a lot of useless baggage. 

I'm not really into zombie films, but I hope this does real good for her. She is a good actress.

Yup, the SW sequels did not do any of the actors in them any favors.

Zombie movies are not my thing (very few movies are these days) but it looks worth a watch when it comes out on streaming.

Yeah, she made some odd decisions career wise. She’s done some lesser than may stuff, but nothing that really stood out, now she’s on to b movies and probably will soon be forgotten

As much as I love LotR I have no desire to see it in theaters again.  HOWEVER that is not why I am posting.  I am posting since it has been 25 years..........

No, it does not! I hate that it's been so long, but love that they (the original trilogy) have continued to hold up so well. Still the pinnacle of fantasy movies.

They’ve definitely held up pretty well compared to most modern fantasy. I still think there was a certain magic to the 80’s fantasy films though like Legend, Conan, Never Ending Story, Labyrinth and Dark Crystal. Might be the mix of visuals and great soundtracks

LOTR trilogy was a epic time to be in the theater. I wish these were the original cuts as I would take my children to see it as they wouldn't have the patience for the extended cuts.

Maybe it's my age, but I can't sit through a 2.5+ hour movie like I used to. There's no way I can watch the extended editions in a movie theater unless they gave me a remote so I can pause the movie every now and then.
