I wonder if they're going to bother concocting a reason for the gang to be together again. Frankly, I'd rather they not, just have it be a standalone episode and let the fans figure out the canon if they really absolutely must do so.

Pretty much but I like Joe Keery and his Steve Harrington is my favorite character in Stranger Things.

Quite a lot of high-calibre actors assembled there.

And fwiw, I found the last one (The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) more entertaining than I expected.
