Anubis Posted December 21, 2003 Share Posted December 21, 2003 (edited) I was watching Flashback a little while ago, and noticed in the tv footage that Hikaru had Roy's helmet in his house on the table. Not really surprized he would have that, but I would have figured Claudia would have kept it. Maybe she gave it to him I guess. I just thought it was kind of cool, and that I'd share it. There's a big rotating DirectX logo, plain as day, on a billboard right smack in the middle of the screen for a few seconds in one episode. I think it was the first one with the spies onboard the Macross, right as they step into the city. But I'm not sure. Okay, found it. Right scene. It's about 6 minutes into episode 13. As our trio of comic relief stares at all the flashing lights, a traffic light changes. After that the camera pans across a row of stores on the street. One of them has a big DirectX logo as a sign. It's mentioned in the Animeigo liner notes. That's a diffrent episode(the one where Exedol comnes aboard to negotiate a cease-fire). The DirectX logo is just a yellow X with a bluish circle around it. Though a porn star would probably look a lot better. Can't get a shot of the billboard(lack a PC DVD player), but here's what the directX logo looks like, so you know what you're looking for(it's really hard to miss).
