pondo
what's yer preference? I've got the revoltechs which are pretty sweet, but the yamato G-NU flexibles look quite cool too... anyone ever done a great side by side review?
arrow
I have both. I prefer the clean lines of the GNU. the revoltechs always have limbs at an odd angle since that is the look they were made with.

GNU looks okay, but have an insane price-value ratio. They look better but not worth that much to me. Still, I would pick up a 1S because I am a sucker. Graham
GNUs all the way. They have a good sculpt, nice crisp clean lines and decent poseability. Saw a YF-19 GNU for only HK$60 (US$7.70) the other day. Revys on the other hand are made of PVC which I hate, as it lacks the crispness of line that mecha toys need. The VF-1's have horrible hunched shoulders, Plus, the legs are permanantly spread like a cheap whore. Graham

The M+ ones are dirt cheap (but I am not a big fan of M+ regrettably). Cheaper than revys.

IIymij
I have both but personally I like the revy's more. There seems to be more articulation in the revy's then the GNU's and the GNU's appear more static but that maybe because I don't have a stand for them like the revy's. Renato
Revoltechs are way better value for money in my opinion. My GNU 19 is a complete floppy mess right now. Even at half-price I feel like I wasted my money.
Ghost Train
For accuracy and looking nice on a shelf - GNU For exotic posing positions - Revoltech
Black Valkyrie
Never really liked Revos, never had a GN-U cuz they are not worth the price but I1m waiting to see how the Robot Damashii will turn out.

Valk009
The GNU are for sure a better buy, I am now just waiting for the Fast Packs to be sold locally. It is already out in Japan for quite some time.
ff95gj
The price for the VF-1 GNUs are dropping! Already down 20%. I think I would be getting them too when the price is right... Damn it, the Kakizaki 1A is web exclusive!!!
vendetta
Revoltechs for me. I'm a big fan of the line in general; the poses you can do with these things are phenomenal, and relatively speaking they're a great value.

nexxstrait
GN-U VF1J pics with Revoltech (and other VF1)comparison VF1J is extremely poseable but is somehow floppy, much more floppy compared to MPlus GN-Us, especially the chest area joint. Figure comes with transparent display stand. Comparison pic with Revoltech Comparison pic with Yamato 1/48, 1/60v.2, Revoltech, Toynami 1/100 and Banpresto 1J figure

Ivan
I agree. The GNU has much nicer sculpt. I personally hate those ball joints on the revoltech. Nevertheless, I must say I quite like the human action figures from Revoltech
