rewooh
Hi, i was wondering if yamato was actually going to create 1/60 version of monster as heard. If so, then.. i wonder why they keep creating 1/60 versions, when the 1/48 seems to be the most popular..
bsu legato
i wonder why they keep creating 1/60 versions, when the 1/48 seems to be the most popular.. You could afford a 1/48 Monster?
Lynx7725
Where are you going to park that 1/48 Monster?
Mad Dawg
No doubt! I mean, if I had a 1/48 Monster I would maybe customize it into a golf cart. Maybe make the cannons fire golf balls, too. Or on that note, customize it into a ball tossing machine for a batting cage.
Vermillion One
Realistically, where are you going to park a 1/60 Monster.
Draykov
Or on that note, customize it into a ball tossing machine for a batting cage. That would be awesome! Macross Miniature Golf & Batting Cages!
Lynx7725
1/60? Coffee table or lawn ornament -- as in, as a coffee table or a lawn ornament.
flash
Ooh, put 2 of them at the end of the driveway, like gargoyles! How kick ass would that be? OK, back to reality
Anubis
A standard bookshelf may not even support the weight of the 1/60 Monster. Can someone post a copy the the picture of it Black Aces took at one of the Cons for this guy? Imagine the shipping costs on that thing. We've already beaten to death who will or won't buy the thing. Suffice to say, if you have the space, and are willing to drop probably 350 (+ SHIPPING) on 1 item then go for it. Put it on a motorized dolly and scare the hell out of your neighbor's dog. Göönk
Q : What is the normal metric size of a monster anyway? A : I found some informations : the monster is 22m-72ft high and 41m-134,5ft long (with barrels). So a 1/48 would be 47cm-18,5" high approximately and 85cm-33,5" long !! 1/60 would be 36,6cm-14.4" high and 68cm-26.7" long note that the VF-1J is 12,7m-41ft high in battloid mode. 1/48 is 26,5cm-10,4" Edited October 17, 2003 by Göönk

hevangel2
I wonder, which version of the monster are they making? The vallina monster from the old TV series, or the transforming monster from VFX2? A non-transforming monster doesn't worth $300, but if it transfrom, I'll probably consider buying it. Perhaps later a transforming one. and that one is a bit smaller actually than the normal monster I believe.
