1st Border Red Devil Posted October 2, 2006 Share Posted October 2, 2006 Ok, I've already noted there are several ship types that do not conform to the standard Zentraedi type ship, including a few that showed up in Do You Remember, Love? as Meltrandi ships (and are even seen in SDF Macross in Meltrandi purple hull colouration). It's pretty hard to make out anything other than random ship shapes coming out of the explosions in the background. Also - Edited your title to reflect the "Macross" episode title, not Rowboatech. I believe it is called the Golg Gants Charts (going by http://macross.anime.net//mecha/index.html ) This website calls it the Heavy Figher: http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/dyrl/heavyfighter.htm (there's an image of it.) If I had to guess, maybe at least 100m in length/width, if not more. Here is a grainy pic of it from DYRL, but of course it doesn't shed anymore light onto how big it is. The Meltran ship int he picture looks nothing like the Zentran ship in question. Watch the DYRL battle scene in the beginning where the fight reaches the Macross. Another clearer shot of the Arcadia... you know with all the impossible situations Leiji Matsumoto has come up with for Harlock to be in while still saying it's the same universe and same harlock... Another thing I can extraploate on and stick in the M:DYRL? mod It's got the Arcadian wings, but it's much too short and stubby to be the Arcadia herself. Looks like it even has legs from here.
