    Well, Thomas Romain (who works for Satelite and has previously been involved with titles such as Basquash, confirmed on twitter yesterday that Kawamori is involved with mecha designs. As for more news tho, and this is purely speculation on my part, I'm expecting the first news that will drop will be the announcement of the winner of the idol auditions and Im not expecting that until April-ish. I think we are still a long ways out on getting much more solid information yet, unfortunately. The show is still a ways off.

    Unfortunately, it looks like the latest update to MACROSS THE FIRST is nothing more than a promotional 2-page flyer for upcoming merchandise. Maybe Mikimoto is still on New Years vacation. The next actual update is now listed as Feb. 03.

    The only DLC released for it requires a code that came with the game. The game itself is not available digitally nor is there any post-launch additional DLC. Does that sorta answer the issue for you? ^^;

    Yeah, got it from the exhibit. While the exhibit coincided with the book, its not an exhibit book per se. Format is a bit small and the Macross stuff is 2-3 pages max from memory.

    Unfortunately theres zero chance of that happening. For starters, the remaster trend thats currently big in western markets on PS4/Xbone, isnt all that common here in Japan. Also, current gen consoles arent selling that well here so the install base isnt great. Finally, its a niche title to begin with, so theres no way it would make the remastering and distribution costs back. My advice - pick up a cheap PS3 later on down the track. Theres plenty of other anime/mecha games on it that wont get a remaster too, so its a good investment imo.
