Japan is still region code 2 for dvd Japan and North America are region code 1 for Bluray. PS2 games are still region locked PS3 games are supposed to be region free but are up to the discretion of the game companies.

Kinda disappointed with Velocity. Was watching it, without sound (TV's not in the kitchen) when I saw BB racing 4 street racers. Then they showed a rig and I'm thinking, Alright! Stunticons! Imagine my disappointment when it turned out to be a bunch of human street racers. Booo. Missed opportunity there. Missed opportunity.

My pre-order email receipt says $100. Of course this was Apr. 24 so the price has gone up since then.
