  1. Still incomplete. No SOC Jesse Dart yet.
  2. That mech in the third trailer looks like a Jenner. Link?
  3. Is Mechwarrior back? http://kotaku.com/5309606/is-this-mechwarr...5?autoplay=true
  4. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...2&hl=cannon Also look in the pinned SCOOPDA thread. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...=28836&st=0
  5. Found the entire KOR series at CEX Boston thursday! Yay! Time to relive high school!
  6. Use punctuations please because your reply doesn't make any sense. As for whether it's an error, shoji kawamori never designed that Valkyrie variation. You will not find it in any BigWest approved tech manaul. An animator in an animation studio making this error does not make it official. Let this error official robot plane remain in the Robotech universe. Actually what am I doing responding to this de-railment of the inimitable Hayai Kakizaki thread? BACK ON TOPIC!
  7. Prime sprouted a fiery blade out of his arm in the first movie.
  8. Michael Bay movies are considered art? Hahahahaha!!! MB movies = lots of explosions, patriotic slo-mo flybys, chicks in tight outfits. Ooo Rah Rah chest thumping! Transformers (up until the movies) were all about Giant Robots duking it out on Earth, lots of explosions, lots of jokes interspersed throughout each episode, supporting autobot cast is never super serious always joking, etc etc etc. ROTF delivers on all of the above. It's a visual explosion of fireworks with characters we've known for a long time.
  9. Prime explains it when he first talks to Sam again.
  10. Not looking but a suggestion. Alot of people will not commit unless they know a price so the easiest way to get them to commit is to do the math upfront. Just say the initial run will be..... 50 units at $xx.xx price and only if those 50 are spoken for. If the demand goes up to 100 units then the price is $xxx.xx etc etc etc The next part will piss off some users but do a non-refundable deposit system. This guarantees you have the initial startup cost etc etc etc and if people flake you're not on the hook for too much. I'm suggesting this from experience. When mechamaniac, myself and whatshisname designed the Paul Trumphour MW Exclusive Macross DVD boxset cases we were only going to do it if X amount of people were going to buy. We polled it asking people not to vote unless they were sure they were committed to the project and we did alot of mock ups and stuff. Poll got the numbers we wanted but when it came time to buying only slightly more then 1/3 of the numbers came through and for those guys I thank you. Project was almost cancelled because the final numbers weren't there but PT was cool enough to go ahead with the lesser order at the initial pricing.
  11. I had 5 of the model kits at one point until I realized I was never going to build them all. So one built model, one for hopefully a future build. Sold the other 3 off but would I buy the MacII toys if they came out? Hell yes!
  12. Who the hell is Alice? Movies not out yet so use SPOILER TAGS if you're going to talk about the movie. Even then use spoiler tags for at least until after the coming weekend, some people won't see this on opening night!
  13. I knew AC7 was coming for awhile but I didn't know it was a PS3 exclusive. That's some info there. edit: google search says info was found in Famitsu magazine. I guess that's a reasonably reliable source. edit 2: more searching says that people believe that image is a fake. Oh well. I don't care as long as it comes out on PS3.
  14. Feels fun first stage. Animation style.....I just felt like yelling out Go Team Venture! While playing it. "Beware the Monarch Butterfly!"
  15. WTH? That's MY line dammit. IMO 1/60 most anime accurate.
  16. FF. Little button on your remote. Deal with a few bad scenes here and there or have to watch an entire season(granted I've only watched episode 1) of badly encoded/compressed video. Not a hard choice.
  17. Season 1 Rhino set: 16 episodes over 4 DVD's. Season 1 Shoutfactory set: 16 Episodes over 2 DVD's. Complete Chinese TF Wood box set. Watched the first episode over computer monitors(viewsonic and dell) and lcd tv's(samsung and sharp). I prefer the Rhino version hands down. Less artifacting, gradient bleed, playback is smoother and less jerky. I like the Shoutfactory Autobot Fridge Magnet though.
  18. I've got the Rhino set, the Chinese set and just picked up the Shoutfactory set. The new G1 S1 Shoutfactory set is ass. Artifacting everywhere.
  19. Exactly. On Overdrive I've got the VE, VT and VF-22 ordered. That's ~$600 there w/o shipping and EMS'd separately. I'm not batting an eye on not wanting this. As for detailing, I wouldn't mind detail but I hate it when the details are so fine/fragile that you have to be careful grabbing the toy. Wave SDF1 for example. Nice detailing but if you accidently pick up the toy by the boom spikes, well, it's plastic and bendable. Not rubber bendy but "bend too much and break". In 1/2000 scale I would imagine that that wouldn't be a problem.
  20. Aw hell no! I want this to be TALLER then Fortress Maximus, just to rub it in Transformers fans faces. It would also be nice, and a first, to have the giant robot ship in the show be bigger in toy form then the giant transforming planes that go into the ship.
  21. Love that site. Was tempted to buy stuff from them last night. I don't think that's a KO MP Prime. The pictures are all cleverly set so you don't see the sides of the cab in which case I'll bet that it transforms like the original G1 Prime.
  22. God not this stupid dumb 4chan crap image again.
  23. Just out of Uni.....god that was a long time ago..... That's "suggested" region lock because IIRC Fox wanted it. Basically almost all Bluray movies you buy will not be region locked except I believe for the new releases by Warner and Fox, which will eventually be released without region coding when they're no longer "new" releases. DVD's remain region locked because well it's old tech and there's no point in trying to undo tech habits.
  24. Ah I figured out what you are. A die hard fps pc player. You probably spent hundreds of hours learning the maps, memorizing the weapons layout, specing out systems, gaming rig etc etc etc. I did that back when I had time in school. I played Wolfenstein3D back when it was originally released on a demo FLOPPY disk so I think I qualify as a long time fps gamer. Now I'm more then happy to console play for less "value" because I don't play each game to death. Single player mode, couple hours online, coop is all I need. I could care less about Internet ranking or whatnot. The game they put out fits exactly what I need so has the perfect "value" for me and my friends. So I'm more then happy to buy them and recommend them and to those I have agreed they're fun great games. Nazi zombies: the whole premise is that you're stuck in a building defending against hordes of zombies. What the heck kind of AI do you want for zombies? These aren't your new fangled running zombies. It's almost a perfect remake of the original Night of Living Dead except you're killing Nazi zombies. L4D2: I'll wait for the special sale deals. I'm having too much fun with the original.
  25. I'm ALMOST okay with the WiiCross 7 talk since this is the self-hate thread but 17 big red BOMBAA!!'s is pushing it..... and no I'm not really going to ban anyone for posting the above but you guys are going overboard with the giant red letters.
