I was rearranging my macross stuff last night the 1/48 GBP is so damn chunky compared to this one. Loving the 1/60 scale, loving it.

It's not all fun and games. Getting into the popular panels, like Avatar or the last few years BSG, Heroes, Prison Break, etc etc you'd first have to line up to get in the convention hall and the RUN to line up for the popular panels rooms hours in advance. Unless you're lucky and wander into a panel for a new show be prepared to wait in line.

If you can take anything away from the show then the non-Soundforce valks are cool. You can throw the rest of the series away.

Wha you don't like Michael Dudikoff and his acting in the series? It's like Miami Vice meets Magnum with a huge helping of white ninja. "Then he must die!" ROFLMAO Perfect example of 80's cheesefest. Love it. Watching AN on Youtube... it's like the perfect live action GI Joe movie. haha! Somewhat on topic, don't see what the appeal of Rain is. Saw him in Speed Racer and well....yeah. Actually what the heck happened during the "Dark Age"? I read/owned all the BT novels up to when the Star League was reborn, Candace settled her feud with Romano, Victor was ComStar, Grey Death was destroyed and that's it. Didn't read the Mechwarrior books or the Dark Ages or anything afterwards.

Technically you're right for that time period but they were really Wolf Dragoons of Clan Wolf. As for SL/Clan tech in any IS hands, no. Wolf Dragoons jealously guarded their tech and let nobody learn their secrets. It was that mystique that made them that fabled unit.

Mech games are about blowing crap up. And I like the pre-clan tech. With clan tech the BT game started to become too unbalanced, everyone suddenly had super amount of tech knowledge and knowhow to buiild super uber mechs. Yah I played the FASA game Battletech when they were still a board game company. Young freakin whippersnappers with your computerized MW and all that. Pen paper and miniatures! That's the way WE played it.
