  1. No idea. BUT more info from Nyko marketing:
  2. Hmm....seems like the R0 is now flying off the shelves since people are not wanting the edited version. Anybody able to help me get one of these R0 sets? I'm still unable to order online because of Kinokuniya's messed up online ordering form. Reply here.
  3. Apparently Nyko's making one. I'm waiting for it for Guitar Hero. http://kotaku.com/gaming/nyko/ps3-charging...ming-226995.php
  4. Sweet! Moonbase One! Something for Unicron to snack on!
  5. Er...yuck. Only one I've liked so far is Blackout. Don't like everyone else. I may get prime simply because he's prime but first thing I'm going to do is get rid of the FUG head. Ultimate Bumblebee = repaint into Wheeljack.
  6. Think Diamond is selling Ideon for about $200. Since I've got no attachment to it(never watched the cartoon)....maybe. Okay that just pissed me off. Bandai's making Ideon bigger then Dancougar but they couldn't make Gunbuster bigger? Anime stats: Ideon = 150 meters GB = 200 meters Dancougar = 25 meters
  7. Haha! Applegeeks Lite 104
  8. I think Shane Anderson over at TFW sums up Classic Jetfire quite nicely. Hate the splitting gun so I'll probably just drill a hole in the middle and mount it there in plane mode. Just like a valkyrie. What it needs are mid bicep and mid thigh swivel joints. Beyond that, I like it.
  9. For me it's worth it. 1) it's R0. I don't have to worry about dealing with region settings on my computers, PS3 or dvd player. 2) Eps.1 audio isn't messed up. 3) It will include the matte episode 6 scene. 4) Gunbuster is one of my anime Holy Grails. Plus I'm still getting the R1 version this February. Not going to screw over my local supplier. Tried ordering through Kinokuniya's website, they include Canada as one of their shipping destination but the Zip Code field only takes 5 characters. Canada uses a 6 code system(Postal Code) so it won't let me order it through there hence why I need a US based member to buy it for me.
  10. Ok, this is just screwed up. Can anyone who's near a kinokuniya bookstore drop by and pick up one of the R0 versions for me? It'll have to be shipped up to Canada.
  11. Robin played the pirate who was getting his ass kicked.
  12. B-movie ahoy! God is that what Lui Kang is reduced to? (Robyn Shou).
  13. Yes. US Renditions release of Gunbuster is what brought me back into watching anime. I wanted this long awaited release to be as perfect as possible, and Honneamise's mandate as I understood it was to release products with no alterations from their Japanese counterpart except for the addition of english translation. This isn't the case anymore. I want the english translation but I also want unaltered audio as well.
  14. Small, minimum diecast and over $100. Rapidly losing interest. Wave better hope Grahams review is glowing cause it looks like I won't be getting one otherwise.
  15. Not happy about the music replacement. Looks like I'm keeping my USR tapes for awhile longer. Eps. 6. Did they mention if they were releasing both versions of this episode (matte and full screen) on the DVD boxset?
  16. 1/60 scale and diecast for $40usd-60usd. We know Yamato can make some damn nice non-transforming diecast toys. Take a look at their original diecast Giant Robo toy. Heavy, detailed, posable, and plenty of gadgets/extras. Yamato, we know you can do it at that price point, now make it happen!
  17. The only concerns I have with the YF-19 are stressmarks on the grey blocks. They've got to redesign that part for more flexibility or replace those blocks with machined metal or diecast. Our other option is to find a caster to recast those parts in higher grade material. Like what MyersJessee did for the vf-11b hip replacements. Good thing I've got two 19's, 1 in Battroid, 1 in fighter. Just the occasional transformations for me.
  18. Has this been shown yet? http://www.ne.jp/asahi/robot/kingkizer/rx78.html
  19. Sonuvabitch. Stripped one of the screws in the leg. Anybody know what size/type screws these are?
  20. The earlier 1/60's don't have the movable handle grips. The ones that do move are tricky. You have to tilt the handle 45 degrees and try to slide it into the gun.
  21. An interview with Tim Kring....and reaffirming that Heroes is picked up for Season 2. You guys get to see the SDCC pilot....on the Season 1 DVD boxset! Woot! I knew all my bitching and moaning on the official websites would get noticed. :P Great. Another toyline to collect. http://www.ifmagazine.com/feature.asp?article=1857
  22. Madox doesn't transform. At most it's a hardsuit.
