  1. Let's see.....still playing Locoroco but just picked up Ace Combat X because Wally Mart decided to give it a price cut and Lumines 2. Good to know I can still play Lumines pretty well.
  2. Well this episode tonight....Six Months Ago or Six Months Back... one of the better episodes in my opinion. We get some back story, alot of detail, the reason behind the nickname Claire Bear, Prof Suresh, Sylar....etc. As usual I'll wait for the west coast to catch up before I start really talking about this episode. HRG FTW!
  3. Ooo....nice Shin variant. Need a VF-0A and I guess it'll be this one.

    1/48 GBP

I think the TV Super VF-1J 1/48 was green colored. I'll need to check but I think it is. Yeah, they're green. Twin Moons has some pics of them. http://www.tmpforums.com/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/559
  5. The links work(in Quicktime. WMP only had audio). I checked the first one just to make sure. (of course having said that the rest of them are probably not going to work.)
  6. 1) Photographs? What a waste of time. Go to the main Macrossworld.com page. Toys. Yamato. 1/48. First 1/48 image on your top right. Scroll all the way down and click on the only link. Scroll down again and watch Grahams VIDEOS on how to transform the sucker. Frack, just to show you how nice I am I'll even include a link. http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/1...48revisited.htm MacrossWorld. More then just a forum. 2) Eh. Read what Kensei said.
  7. No Macross in games means....dammit can't think of a good smartass rhyme to go with that. Anyways if this thread had the Super Robot Wars Alpha game with the VF's it'd deserve to be here but since it doesn't....off to the Other Anime and Sci-Fi it goes!
  8. Weathering Continent is a great little D&D type fantasy one-shot. IIRC it's got a Dead City, creepy thread monsters, and magic/sword fighting(duh!)
  9. I've got it the OST CD somewhere. Loved the sub with the giant drill but then again I love old school battleships flying around in space fighting comet empires and such(Yamato for those of you who don't know). Music was good, mechanical designs were good, character/plot...not so good.
  10. Agree with Noriko. Got my SoC yesterday but opened it today. Just combining the toy had me humming the music when Gunbuster first combined. This toy is awesome. So much fun and doesn't feel like a display piece at all. It's replacing my Popy Dangard Ace, SoC Getter G and MF Makinkaiser as my chogokin centerpiece. Another Grail down. Popping in the old US Rendition tapes just to watch this show again. Where's the fracken HONNEAMISE Gunbuster DVD boxset?!? (grrr....3 more months to go...)
  11. Neumann = awesome because without Neumann there would be no YF-19.
  12. Wooo!! So it won't interfere with my TOTY voting. (steepled fingers) Ex-cellent.
  13. Them's be fighting words as the VF2ss rocks. He's got Jetfire lined up with Toynami Veritechs 1/55 and the Alphas so I can understand the mistake. ZING!
  14. Eden's weakness - ear plugs. You can't hear her, she can't talk to you. Peter the power leech may have made Sylar weaker then normal. a) Peter jumps and is saved by Nathan. Next episode we see Nathan coughing(at least from what I've read. Too lazy to go back and check) b) Peter paints the future. Isaac is seen coughing. c) Peter regens. Claire's blood that's smeared all over her doesn't automatically reenter her body and heal(clean up). d) Peter and Sylar fall off roof. Sylar is seen limping away.
  15. Nope. They didn't save that cheerleader but they did save the Cheerleader.
  16. ROFLMAO!!! No offense to the guy but his friends are too funny!! http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=115718 Classics Jetfire is a great TF toy and rendition of the character, of that there's no doubt, but to compare it to a Macross Valkyrie.....
  17. BBTS is just expensive for non US based customers. They've got great customer service but for the price I pay for shipping I'd get stuff faster if I buy straight from HK or HLJ. Only time I buy BBTS is when they're having clearance sales. HLJ has done right by me so far so I'll stick with them for some stuff.
  18. Well tonights episode was interesting. Eden "these aren't the droids you're looking for." Claire "I walked through fire and didn't get burned AND I OWNZD BEYOTCH!" Peter "Oh frakk oh frakk oh frakk." Jessica "Niki ain't home right now..." Mohinder ".....help me Obi Wan!" Ando "Oh frakk oh frakk oh frakk" Hiro "I'm going to get the hot chick, I'm going to get the hot chick" Nathan "My painting! You can't handle the truth!" HRG "You'll survive" Haitian "........" Micah "I'm a little teapot short and DENSE!" D.L. "B & R but I ain't wearing no tights." Matt "Hey! I got no screen time this episode!!!"
  19. Eh. HLJ got my money the day nay the hour they put it up for up for pre-order. This is my favourite valk and I'm getting one.
  20. Sad day indeed. I was going to nail you for thread necromancy but this news deserves to be recognized.
  21. Haha! I love those guys! They do it for every new system that comes out regardless of brand name. It's a great social commentary piece.
  22. GEEK NEWS UPDATE! November 16, 2006 (New York, NY) - On the NBC smash hit Heroes, time-traveling fanboy Hiro Nakamura is insanely obsessed with Star Trek. TV Guide magazine has gotten word that Hiro's father will be played by Trek icon George Takei (Sulu) (in the November 27 issue; on newsstands Thursday, November 23). The new character will be introduced in a January 29 cliff-hanger. "It was one of those lightning-bolt ideas," creator Tim Kring tells TV Guide. Masi Oka, who plays Hiro, is also over the moon. "This is absolutely brilliant!" the Tokyo-born actor tells TV Guide. "Hiro's father is this big honcho who shows up in America with his bodyguard. He has this whole elaborate scheme to kidnap his son and take him back to Japan." Adds Oka, "I just hope I get to say, 'Dad! Sulu is my hero, not you!' The sci-fi fans would love it!" ---- The Nov. 27 TV Guide hits newsstands next week.
  23. Actually he does. It's in one of the other two Homecoming previews either on NBC's website or on Youtube.
