I'll be even more specific: does that small section in "Works" contain Macross pictures that are not present in either Valkyries books and available ONLY in "Works"?

I was referring to the "Hidetaka Tenjin Works: the art of Hidetaka Tenjin" from 2010, not the first Valkyrie book from 2005 Thanks anyway!

And those shoulders tend to break a lot Besides, no Valkyrie ever made is lineart accurate (Battroid wise) The only retooling the 1/48 needs is a VF1D and an optional parts kit that includes: a shorter nosecone for battroid (very simple, since the nose can already be taken out), side covers & big hands (the ones included in the Armored) and maybe a standing pilot (and a TV Roy). So no, I wouldn't buy another one, they are just perfect as they are

Absolutely YES. Pilot needs complete resculpt, as both helmet and flightsuit have been redesigned. The WAVE custom, however, has a wrong head sculpt (see pictures in above post to see the difference) and wrong fighter color scheme (the red goes along the nose until the canopy). Quick photoshop retouch to show how the head should be sculpted
