So it seems. It is set in 2059 BEFORE the end of Macross F. Maybe (this is just speculation) some M7 footage will be edited with new animations and maybe some M7 characters will make an appearance in 2059 (again, just wishful thinking). More info as they come. MF Characters confirmed are Ozma (obviously), Ranka & Sheryl, Bobby, Canaria, Luca, Michael and Klan

It probably contains the part you mention then, the prototype thing comes towards the end but is probably followed by some other pages. I connot say for sure as I glimpsed it from an image and not the actual product. Thanks anyway!

From the images I saw of Vol #4 (some ebay stores already carry it), it ends with the female scientist showing the super packs prototypes: does that mean Vol #4 collects all the stuff published in Newtype Ace up to now, including the very last issue?

Thanks a lot! This is all I could find: It seems Tenjin did a lot of new and reworked art!!! Damn... It also seems there will be now colored lineart substituting blank lineart in the old version. Edit: I see these new Tenjin artworks: YF29 fighter VF25F tornado gerwalk VF1J Myria battroid VF1J Max gerwalk VF19 Kay fighter YF19 battroid YF21 battroid VF0S armored VF19P gerwalk VF1J Hikaru battroid (not shown in these pics. It's the one on the cover of issue 1, can be seen in the internal folder cover) VF25 fighters (can't clearly see what models). And this only in the first 8 reissued issues...

I understand Vepariga. I personally do like Frontier, but It's certainly aimed at a juvenile audience. The current japanese trend of oversexualizing girls annoys the hell out of me. But it's true that I've grown up. I just wish Macross grew up with me and still hope there will be more adult Macross stories still to come.
