Is it me or do the Max and Mira 1/60 VF-1's need a another run? I am kicking myself for not picking them up when they came out and now I can't find hide or hair of them in the stores.

Flightpose is the way to go. The Yamato stands are either too expensive or, in the case with the cheap ones, require some serious modification for use with anything larger than a naked 1/60 VF-1. Note I would be the FP-PAK which gives you all 3 sizes. I like to do this so I can swap the differant sized rodes between the 3 to get more "extreme" poses. Just be carefull not to over tighten as you can crack the acrylic base.

Does anyone remember what the fix for the floppy wings where? Got my Max and Mira VF-22s yesterday and the left wing on the Mira is pretty floppy. Tried taking it apart but I did not notice anything majorly wrong. Was it something to do with the length of the screw used? I noticed that when I took it apart 1 of the 3 screws in that part of the wing was noticeably longer than the others.

I want it in Macross Frontier trim though. The VF-171 looks allot better than the VF-17. Doesn't have to be in that pansy cyan color though.

They took my money on Friday and it still has not shipped. WTF! Well hopefully it will ship by this Friday. I imagine they must be really busy with all the sales they have had on lately.

I don't know, considering all the articulation you got with the Tomahawk I thought $80-$90US was fine. I did not like the Defender as much but it is still a good toy. My mistake on the Defender was not waiting for the OD green version to come out. That OD green color on my Tomahawk is just awesome. I would love to see a Phalanx and a Spartan but lets face it. Yamato can't milk the molds like they did on the VF-1s so I doubt we are going to see them. Much to my disappointment. I thought the Destroids where comparable to the VF-1s 1/60s and are worth the price IMO. Heck I even bought a Spartan model kit I wanted one so bad.....Then I put it together.....ugh is the only word when you put it next to one of the Yamato destoids. As far as I am concerned you get what you pay for. When you see how much these toys are so much better over the model kits they are worth the price I think. I know I shouldn't compare the two but the $80 toy really does outshine the $20 dollar model kit. Enough that I think it warrants the price difference.

They took the money out of my account yesterday for the VF-22 Max and Mira...that I ordred on Thursday. Well here's hoping that they manage to ship it this week!

I had the same problem. Take the joint apart and re-seat the magnetic piece. You'll get it to a point where the rotation of the "forearm" will not cause such a huge gap anymore. Note that you only need to remove the top of forearm (lift and slide out). Spring in the arm should stay seated with the elbow and lower forearm. IF YOU HAVEN'T FIXED IT YOURSELF ALREADY LIKE I JUST READ NOW...........

Well don't bother saving for a PSP the PSP 2 is most likely coming out by the end of the year so buy your toys now and save for the other stuff later!

I KNOW I can't afford it. It's OVERDRAFT TIME! I always wanted them and at the price I could not pass up. If they had the VF-11C on sale I would have bought that too.

Ugh, had to buy the VF-22 Max and Millia. I couldn't pass that up! So many others though and so little money.......................could have bought more if I hadn't bought the SDF-1...oh well. Wish they had the VF-1 Max and Millia too............

I am seeing a difference in the shades of white on my original VF-25 Alto but nothing major yet. I would use my Tornado Alto as a comparison but I think that was a "Brighter" white from the start.

Well he could always just keep 1/60 make it smaller and say it was the "runt of the litter". Besides with Zentradi miclone technology couldn't they be any size they wanted?

Like I've said to some of the other Mac'worlders before it has never been a problem. It's a small office too so I get away with it. I really do like having them at work though. I spend way more time with them then I ever would at home. It's my "Calm Blue Ocean" or "Serenity Now" or "Hang in There" poster. Besides the only time I have concentrating with them around is when I get a new one.
