  1. I am still kicking myself for not buying these when they came out! Had the preorder setup but I was buying so many 1/60 VF-1's at the time I had to draw the line somewhere....(oh god why there!) I figured the Max and Mira would be so popular I could still pick it up later like the TV VF-1s or the VF-1J Hic. or the VF-1.....anything without a super/strike pack aparently. DAMN I WAS SO WRONG! If anything deservers another run it is these! Now I would give a kidney for Yamato to re-release these so I could pick each up and I am not spending $300-500 per on ebay for them. I was so depressed after reading this that I ordered the VF-1S Focker with effects pack....I am sick I know..... Come on Yamato I bought another VF-1S, throw me a bone here. Also you think Yamato could do another run of super/stike packs? I am feeling ill having to purchase them for $90US on ebay! Of course with my luck Yamato will re-release these and charge $200 US for them....well they suckered my into a $200+ Firevalkyrie didn't they?
  2. Ordered 2 sets today. I think that should cover me. Some of mine are cracked but not broken. At least now I have a replacement for when they do fail.
  3. What if the 17S goes on sale when the 17D comes out? .............. ..............Frankly I don't care which version I have I am just waiting to find one close to around $200US if possible. Holding off on the Blazer Valk appears to have turned out so........lets hope HLJ puts the 17S and 19S on sale sometime in the future?
  4. I'm not the hugest fan of the Fire Valkyrie either but at under $200US I had to pick it up. Also Preodered the VF-1D trainer with the seat and Panel accessory......why am I buying this again just for the accessories......right I forgot I like Macross and suffer from expensive toy impules control like everyone else on this site.... Now if only the VF-19s and VF-17 could get under that $200US dollar mark...... oh well they will be on sale on day at HLJ and the will be mine....oh yes they will be mine......ha ha ha.......
  5. Dammit I go on holiday for a couple of weeks and this is what miss!?!??!!? Is it still available for preorder anywhere?
  6. Definatly want some. I am even going to buy spares incase of future breakages.
  7. Max and Miriya VF-1J's 1/60 V2 as well. I am still kicking myself for not getting those when they came out (I thought I could wait on them a few months..) and I don't want to drop a car payment to get them again. Oh and a TV SDF1 as well. I love the DYRL one so much I would also get the TV one.......and have them battle Rockem Sockem style on my display case.....cause I can......Macross Attack vs. Macross Attack....TV vs. Movie.....who will win!........Drool......
  8. Finally received mine yesterday. This is what the toy should have been. From the second I held it in my hand it felt right. The weight, the texture on the plastic, paint apps, proper gun pod, etc. Sure there are still some quibbles I have about it (too tight hip joints for example so I know those are going to get loose) but IMO they finally fixed the things that where wrong. Also the included pose-able hands are really nice. I would rather have just those and they could have included some missiles in the box instead of all those hands I will never use and the EX armored figure.
  9. Just to be differant and because I'm digging it again today.
  10. All the back kibble still kills it for me. Both this and the VF-27. They look great till you look at the back and Gack!! I thought the VF-25 was bad! I still love the fighter modes but they still lack playability when compared to a VF-1 IMO. Nevermind the fact that I am always poking myself on something on the Bandai Valks no matter what mode.
  11. Collectable toy I would say the Yamato SDF-1 hands down. As to one I am actually not afraid to screw around with any day of the week I would say any of my VF-1 1/60s cracking shoulders and all. Hands down they are my favorite toys period. Now I only need a 1/60 Max and Mira to complete my collection......whenever/if Yamato ever re releases those.
  12. Looks good. Still hurt to buy this at $160Can. with shipping. I just bought 2 VF-1 1/60 valks and they cost me $180 with shipping..... going to be tight this month....thank god it's almost over.
  13. What I like is that there are actually mounting holes on the bottom of the wings for missiles and such. Not that stupid clip system they offered with the web-exclusives for the previous versions. Hopefully Bandai includes some in the box! Frankly it's not quite all that I hoped for but it appears to light years better than what they put out before and will defiantly be worth a purchase. After all you can't be in this hobby and not be able to turn a blind eye "to the little things."
  14. I pre-ordered mine through HLJ......still hasn't shipped or been charged for it. I hope that is not because of the postal strike currently going on in my Country.......if that's the case then the government has my support in forcing them back to work.
  15. - Anime accurate gun pod. Rectified in the Tornado but.....you still need the extra attachment piece! Grrrrr. - More detailed cockpit with removable figure. Like the VF-27 and YF-29. - Attachment points for missiles and/or reactive bombs. It should come with them too and not be part of a latter web exclusive. You know all the things you usually get on a Yamato release.
  16. Yes! I am so glad I only bought the Alto and Tornado now. Now I'll get the armored version of all 4.......I just hope they are not as expensive as the YF-29 is...
  17. This pic right here is epic! Cockpit rotation and access from the top in batroid mode! Too bad I can't afford this and the YF-29 this month........damn now I think I made the wrong choice! PS: Every time I see a pic of these leg missiles I drool.........................battroid mode is epic. I am going to have to find some cash to pic this one up now......what are kidneys going for nowadays?........maybe I will just sell off my Masterpiece Seekers. They are nice, but they are not Macross.
  18. I'd buy it. I like the head sculpt and the paint scheme is fine. If I can buy a purple(vF27) and pink(VF-22M) valk there is no reason to poo on an a valk with orange on it. At least it's not another repaint guys
  19. Personally I think the best deals where on the Koenig's while they where still up. It's a great toy and that was an awesome price. I finally picked up that VF-11C I've been wanting so ! Now if only I could find a YF-29.....picked the wrong month to stop paying attention to the release schedule.
  20. I think it looks pretty good. Besides how many of us would have the balls to do that to something that expensive? Kudos to him.
  21. I don't know. Smells like it will be a stupid web exclusive to me.
  22. Actar that pic is awesome! I look forward to your review! Keep it up. I look forward to every time I see you put up a new review on youtube.
  23. It's the version 2 VF-1 not the original in 1/60. The problem with the might blocks stand is that the pin connector on the arm is a friction connector and not ratcheted. There is not enough friction to hold heavier valks well. That being said if you modify them with nail polish or plastic cement you can get it good enough to work. Check the collections thread I have allot more now since taking these pics. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=34339&st=120
  24. Don't forget the VF-27. Besides some minor paint problems it's a great collectible toy.
  25. Ordered a VF-0A from Ami Ami at what I thought was a cheap price....then the shipping came in....ouch! They would not SAL it. So a $90Can toy had about $50Can shipping........... Macross Zero Yamato Macross Series 1/60 Perfect Transformer VF-0A | 7,900.- | 1 | 7,900.- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Payment method: PayPal Shipping method: EMS Shipping Fee: 4140 TOTAL: 12040JPY
