A friend bought me this game for my birthday back on the 14th. Never even knew it existed. I had vague recollections of seeing a game called x-com years ago but knew nothing about it. I though my buddy just got me a first person shooter (i hate those games) and was pleasantly surprised with what i got. This game is pretty sweet. It's hard to find decent turn based squad games.

Nippon-Yasen is down at the moment. What was the price on the super parts? I'm totally not seeing the skulls on the super parts.

Ah, good to know. I just started collecting when they were blowing out their old stock and waiting for the new ones to come in. Only got 3 of the black tipped ones. Wish i was able to get more. When you get down to it these stands were a really good idea, a reasonably priced stand that looks good. When you have as many valks as i do (and probably everyone else here) you don't want to spend $50-100 for each stand. I remember when i first bought that Yamato stand back in 2008 i paid $50 (25 for the stand and 25 for shipping) and i though that was crazy. Now that stand is going for like $98 shipped. I'd sooner put that money towards a new valk.

I doubt there will be any updates. the last time Los posted, he stated that the manufacturers were not finding the same issues as us and that the official stance is to not use the stand long term posing. Disappointing. I just wish they would rollback to the black tipped ones. Never had any problems with those. Anyone want to sell me their used ones?

I loved the old version with the black rubber tips and the new ones are garbage. They have taken the paint off my yamato valks (strangely the bandai ones seem unaffected). The new ones also have the tenancy to crack like a poster above stated. Never had that problem with the old versions. The worse thing is how the flightpose people don't acknowledge there is a problem and try to work on a solution. It would be an awesome product if they could fix these issues. Sure beats paying $80 for the yamato stand.

My vf-171ex came from them missing a chest cannon. They will only replace it if i ship it back to them which will cost me $90(my post office's fault, not their's) for some reason. It's hardly worth paying another $90 to get a replacement or my money back. I'm probably going to have to throw it on ebay and hope to try and recoup some of my money lost on it. Sucks.

What piece were you missing? My 171 came with one of the chest guns missing. Nippon-yassen wants me to ship it back to them at my cost which is like $90. Its hardly worth it so I'm hooped. Hopefully one day I can find a replacement gun I can attach to it.

Got home from my trip to Rome and was finally able to open my vf-171. Joy quickly became sadness. It seems one the "nipple" pieces is missing from vf-171. I hope nippon-yasen can do something for me. This sucks.

I'm hoping they decide to milk the mold and give us a cannon fodder vf-25. I saw a custom paint job of one. It looked hot.

Hmmm not the way I expected this color scheme to look on the vf-29. It should have the skull on the tail fins at least. Probably still get it though.

<sign> Yes i have read the thread and i know everything you have stated already. I was just sharing my experience. The only thing i'm asking if people are still getting orders filled from nippon-yasen as they still list the product available. <sign> Anyway i place another order in a "what the hey" moment. It went through. we'll see if i get it.

Well it looks like dendenhobby didn't get enough to fill my 2 i preordered. I preordered them within an hour of them putting up their ebay store listing. I'm guessing not too many people will get their orders filled from dendenhobby. Luckily i didn't trust him and went through nippon-yasan. They are being shipped as we speak. I noticed their website is still listing the 171 as available? Anyone manage to get an order filled recently?

Seriously? HLJ didn't get enough to fill preorders? I have a feeling that this is a sign of things to come. I hope i get my vf-1a cavalier now. I wasn' t even going to preorder it since yamato valkyries don't sell out their preorders. I'm glad i did now.

I'm getting really annoyed with this. I'm constantly looking at this thread and i always seem to miss these preorder windows. Very frustrating.
