  1. Yeah i can't believe i paid over $300 preorder for the yf-29 back in Oct at NY and now it's there in stock for only $208. I wish i would've known this back in Oct.
  2. Yeah but the yf-29 fokker version went up to $300 the next day. I wouldn't be suprised if this followed suit. I subscribe to that newsletter as well. I never got that email tonight for some reason. Got it last time for the rvf-25.
  3. In fact i still can't find it unless i use Grahamn's direct link.
  4. Gone. Nice it wouldn't show up on any searches on the cdjapan. I'm not sure why?
  5. it keeps saying product not found for me?
  6. They're cheap on yahoo auctions? i've never seen them cheap on there.
  7. It's bittersweet. If yamato was still around, this year could've been the year they released the vf-2ss web exclusive.
  8. Where'd you find the fire valk and sound booster for that price?
  9. 2008 was the year i first started collecting. Looking back it was a great time to start. I was able to quickly build up a 1/48 collected cheaply since everyone was selling them off to buy the new 1/60 scale. Unfortunately still made blunders like buying original 1/60 and 1/72 and especially MPCs.
  10. Yeah i agree. I think i mentioned this in a post last year sometime that i was worried about the state of yamato because people were passing on initial release to wait for the eventual sale. I think Bandai had a part in this as a lot of people were focusing on getting their stuff first as it would be harder to get latter on and that the yamato stuff would most likely still be there waiting for them. But like mechanianc said above, not everyone can afford to get them right away.
  11. Is this really out? Amiami hasn't sent me a notice yet.
  12. Yeah ridiculous. I 'm not sure what's going on with amazon and it's price gouging. Even Amazon itself is doing it. My wife bought a rocking chair and the price immediately went up $50.
  13. Got one too. I'm skeptical that they will meet demand but here's hoping.
  14. Yeah Arcadia is only likely to announce that they have a license. if they don't they won't have an announcement that they don't have the Macross license. So if we don't hear anything in the next month or so, i'd say don't expect anything from Arcadia. It could end without any acknowledgement.
  15. The vf-19 is an amazing toy. I rate it higher than the yf-29. Yamato valks are way more fun to play and fiddle with than bandai valks and the Vf-19 represents the best of yamato.
  16. I have a fondness for that design. i wish there was a toy accurate version. The Jetfire classic was close.
  17. Anyone have a screencap of the isamu YF-29?
  18. That's what i wonder about. A few people in this and the other thread keep stating that arcadia would be foolish to give up the licence since yamato is making so much money from it especially this last year. I kept wondering to myself how they know that. Yamato valks are always on sale after the initial release and a lot of time go on clearance. Kinda makes me think they aren't really selling that well. Also around the time the Gamilin Vf-22s came out, didn't yamato reduce the amount they produced per run?
  19. To be fair, the "i know a secret but i can't tell you" shtick is irritating even back on the playground during elementary school years. IMO if you know something that you can't say then don't mention it. Just my opinion. Not taking any sides.
  20. As much as i'd like to see it, the alaska base vf-1a would definitely be a shelf warmer.
