With my alto version i ended up forgetting to slide out that little black piece that is cracking on everyone's cf 171 which preventing me to lock the leg back in fighter mode. It ended up scratching the black stripe down the side of the hips/intake area. I'm wondering if i can fix this by using a black gundam marker. Anyone have experience with Gundam markers? Will this work? Keep in mind my modeling and painting skills are pretty terrible.

Got an email from Otacute stating my preorder for the RVF-25 is ready to be shipped. Strange thing is that i'm pretty sure that i didn't place a preorder with them especially since i got one from N-Y. The only thing i can think of is that i clicked on the wish list button (or the Otacute equivalent ) back during preorder time and they gave me one from a cancelled preorder? I bought it anyway. For $128 dollers you can't go wrong. Just wished i didn't pay N-Y scalper prices for my first one (still haven't got it yet).

Usually with ny i get ems shipping with my first valk and downgrade to sal for each duplicate i get. Strange thing is somethings they come in on the same day.

Personally i think Yamato should have released the dyrl Vf-1a hikaru and max types with swapable vf-1s heads rather than sell them as a separate valk.

Took out my vf-1a hikaru 1/60 ver 1 last night so i can decide if i should sell it to fund future purchases. Moved one of the arms and the shoulder joint started to crumble and bend rather than move. LOL i guess i won't be selling this one.

I've only had yellowing occur on any of my v1s. Both times was with hikaru's vf-1 dyrl. I've always chalked it up as being the first v1 release. Amusing enough the only other valk to yellow on me was alto's v1 vf-25 dx. Something about red and white valks that are the first release of their v1 line.

I think it's mostly because the 171 isn't as popular as the other hero valks. I'm betting the vf-25f reissue is going to be scarce. Not sure about the RVF-25 though. It'll be interesting to see how well that one sells.
