  1. As much as i'd like to see it, the alaska base vf-1a would definitely be a shelf warmer.
  2. So disappointing that they won't address this issue. If it wasn't for that issue, this would be the best stand..period.
  3. Well it's good the scaplers got theirs.
  4. I have to agree with this. After a few months of playing around with Bandai valks, i grabbed my Vf-11b yammie to test it on a Bandai stand. Boy was it ever so much funner to pose and transform than Bandai's valks. I forgot how awesome of a toy the vf-11b is.
  5. I was able to get the Vf-11b to sit on the gundam stand with the adapter. I had to position it exactly as shown in the pics below: As long as i didn't bump it too bad it manage to hold the pose for 2 days and counting. However if i did bump it, the following happened:
  6. If Bandai can drop the ball with Gundam, there's pretty much no hope for Scrapped Princess.
  7. If you have the original rubber tipped ones i'd be interested in picking them up. The newer ones not so much...
  8. I wouldn't buy any. The risk of damage is too great for a $10 stand. Right now i'm using gundam action stands with the adapter EXO made. Works great with the YF-19.
  9. They will definitely be trying to piggy back on the success of the Transformer movies. When the first TF movie came out is when talk about a live action RT movie got "serious". The movie more likely use Rick Hunter and all the rest of the macross characters like EXO said. The story will be heavily reworked IMO to avoid legal issues. I doubt it will ever come out. They missed their window of opportunity This movie should have come out back in 2008-9 to capitalize the 80s nostalgia that was happening to to the success of the first TF movie. Even then chances of success would be in question (Gijoe for example).
  10. Yes a new vf-0s and a would be awesome. Mainly because i could buy them at a reasonable price.
  11. Yeah i miss the tampo too. I hate using stickers. I've only ever applied the skull stickers for the vf-1's fast packs.
  12. I wouldn't mind more 1/48 stuff but like Jenius said i think the price point would be way more expensive even if they didn't include all the bell and whistles.
  13. The sound booster looks akward in fighter mode. It only looks good in battroid mode IMO. I don't think we every say the Kai have it attached in fighter mode?
  14. I know the camo sold really bad but i'm surprised that the stealth didn't sell well.
  15. I've been watching RD since the beginning. I'm surprised by the big 4 year gap between series VI and VII. Interesting enough this is where the series i think started going off the rails for me. Though i seem to be in the small minority that loves series VIII.
  16. That figures. It was pretty obvious they were overcharging shipping especially considering the cut down recycled boxes. Seriously i think they would've sold more if they didn't charge so much for shipping. I probably would've bought another. N-Y quality of service has been slowly going down hill. My vf-171 came in with a missing part (not their fault but the way they choose to handle it was ridiculous). My vf-25G came with the shipping box punctured in the centre. The hole went through the toy box but didn't damage the toy. Still i expected to give me $20 off since i don't have a MSIB vf-25g anymore or even a coupon for my next purchase. Nope, never replied after my second email with the requested pics they asked for. Unfortunately they have us by the balls as they are the only place to get bandai valks without resorting to ebay scalpers. If that situation changes be sure i will stop ordering from them.
