I'm not collecting Macross toys from Delta or Frontier and just now got curious if Bandai has ever announced 2 DX release very close to each other. I wonder if the announcement of a retailer release of a DX VF-1 could come soon. Got my bet on a Brownie

If I'm not wrong, it won't. For Tamashii shop exclusives, for SDFM and DYRL items since those are not part of the WWR, you are supposed to have a Japanese address, luckily for many of us some retailers make them available for over seas. If you get your items via a proxy you may still have a chance to get replacement parts.

Scrolling rapidly thru the post the first 2 pics I thought them to be the Yamato V. 2 releases. I had to scroll back and lake a 2nd look at them.

Ostrich arrived from Nin-nin with a good dinged corner. Seems shipping wasn't the issue since the Nin-nin shipping box has no damages Opening it latter tonight to see if I hit a prize on the broken parts roulette

Mine is in my local post office already. But might not see it till next week if I have to pay import taxes ☹️. Post office no longer collect those taxes like many years ago. It means a extra visit to the bank and one or two more days of waiting m

YF-21 is a regular retailer release, no brown shipping box for those. Unless you buy 4 that might come in a shipper box with 4 units 😂
-
Yep. I'm used to my package take a bit long, even if shipped via EMS, my postal service is reliable and the packages that have take the longest time to arrive boxes only show more crushing than normal. Haven't lost anything or have to open a complain for damages in 20+ years of collecting.

Something odd is going on that intake. Seems to be attached via like a swivel mechanism. In Guardian mode it is way more separated from the chest plate and closer to the fuselage
-
Hmm Those intakes placement look out from a VF-2SS, very far away from the fuselage. https://www.facebook.com/story.php?id=100064184163387&story_fbid=870904095059055

I like the cartoon-ish look of the "Battloid" mode but fighter for sure is going to be a mess with those proportions.

Catching up with the DX line. Finally grabbed a first release VF-1J. From Mandarake, 28k Yen. Box is a bit beaten up but as long the toy is good I don't mind it a lot.

My unit from Nin-nin finally shipped

Any word from Nin-nin? Site has 31/7 as release date. Mine doesn't not show any updates.

It would have been nice of they offered a download file. I don't see that page in the PDF instructions booklet they released a few days ago.

It seemed the packing was not a problem at all. Even my copy from HLJ came perfect even when box was noticable crushed since I shipped it along other stuff. Box was big and heavy. My thought on that bent head laser is that at packaging stage in the factory when workers pushed the plastic trays closed they probably where doing it with much force or placing the top from an specific angle since all moat of the damaged copies have the laser bent to the same side
