    Just paid for my ordered at Mandarake , 44750. (38000+6700 EMS shipping) But hoooooly cow! At 6.6 yen for 1 MXN that is the worst exchange rate I have seen in years.

    Seems I finally managed to grab one at Mandarake last night. Still waiting for the confirmation/invoice mail. I really hope I didn't got cart hijacked since it took me some time to log into the site. Lol

    Thanks. My DX 21 is next. Still in the box while I make room for it. I just had to open the Ostrich first because of the color and be because it is the only VF that I will ever display in Gerwalk mode 😂 Battroid pics are awaiting.

    One more Brownie. Probably the luckiest pick so far. A couple popped at Mandarake almost together (the opened one from my last post). The first one seems that whoever grabbed didn't pay for it. And it became available a couple of days since my last order. This one comes in a very pristine box, even the store staff cared to slap the store sticker on the side. Count so far is 6. I consider my self lucky as hell since my 4 picks from Mandarake have been popping at very nice hours for me in Mexico. Past months for the time I wake up they were already gone. I was willing for just 2 or 3 but now it seems this is going to be a bottomless pit 😂

    Picked up 2 more brownies from the post office at the start of the week. Just got time to unpack them. One is opened and the other still sealed. Both from Mandarake. Been lucky that this 2 popped at the online store early in the night for me in Mexico.

    So. Few days ago popped the Ostrich out of the box. Fortunately nothing broken or seriously damaged. But found something really odd. Unlike the YF-21 that seemed to have enough clearance between the head laser and the plastic trays my Ostrich was rubbing the left rear stabilizer hardly enough to remove some paint But even more weird, the cover is showing stress marks in the part of both stabilizer and even a tiny hole on the left side The box only was dinged on one of the corners and it didn't show signs of crushing. Even the box of my 21 got a bit crushed but no damages to the toy

    Finally popped the Ostrich out of the box

    It wouldn't make any sense from Bandai (if making sense is a Bandai thing) to change from white-grey to yellowish-grey given that TV series Valkyries where bright white. Yamato V.2. TV release were white. Arcadia oddly changed the off-white from DYRL to a bright white when they released the Roy and Hikaru Strike VF-1S. Bandai also opted to make the latest TV Hi Metal R variants bright white.

    I'm not collecting Macross toys from Delta or Frontier and just now got curious if Bandai has ever announced 2 DX release very close to each other. I wonder if the announcement of a retailer release of a DX VF-1 could come soon. Got my bet on a Brownie

    If I'm not wrong, it won't. For Tamashii shop exclusives, for SDFM and DYRL items since those are not part of the WWR, you are supposed to have a Japanese address, luckily for many of us some retailers make them available for over seas. If you get your items via a proxy you may still have a chance to get replacement parts.

    Ostrich arrived from Nin-nin with a good dinged corner. Seems shipping wasn't the issue since the Nin-nin shipping box has no damages Opening it latter tonight to see if I hit a prize on the broken parts roulette
