FINALLY!!! My ReFire CD finally arrived today. Figures it would come a day after I downloaded an online copy. Murphy's Law is my life. Having listened to everything at least once, this is an amazing album. Here is to more Fire Bomber as time goes on! We really should get some translations of those liner notes, I've heard some things but I'd like to read it all too.

I finally am able to listen to all the songs of ReFire, not because my CD finally arrived, no I am still waiting very aggravated for that to happen. I can listen now because a download that isn't a torrent is finally available (by markcell unsurprisingly). Since I have it on the wait (supposedly) anyway, this will do for now. BOMBAA!!

You an also get Flexi-Displays from the source... LAFToys... I don't often post here (I have no pictures to share) but I see often that no matter how many times it is mentioned where the stands come from, no one really ever seems to know. For the record I don't even have any, but I want some. I am waiting till I get my second valk (I only have one). I don't know when that will be.

Wah.. I still don't have ReFire... I think something got messed up with my shipment. It was shipped 10 days ago and I still don't have it. It has never taken me this long to get something from Japan or Hong Kong (it is Hong Kong in this case). I sent the people a message to let them know I am still waiting on the shipment. I have only heard the songs on Youtube... and I can't download a torrent in the meantime because my school's internet setup blocks Torrents.

The chances of finding a good dub of anything Macross related after Plus is zero so just find a decent sub, unless that is what you meant. Macross 7 varies from person to person, but Fire Bomber is just awesome no matter what.

This might not be the right place for it, but has there been any update on that 1/48 VF-25 model, is that actually going to happen? If so will they due all of the 25s or just Alto? On a side note, I might have to get that VF-27...

Wow, the new animation actually makes me like how Minmay looks. I never was the biggest fan of Minmay (songs are good though). I like the new Millia artwork and the opening sequence (need it in full HD!)

Just to add on to that, Max also barely aged in 35 years, but the reason for that was explained by one of the show runners as an effect of him being a 'genius'. Can't argue with that, lol.

Continuing to wait for my copy of ReFire to ship... don't know what is taking so long, the order has been in 'preparing order' stage for almost a week now... I might have to give them a call. EDIT: It was shipped this morning, finally! Now I play the waiting game... again.

You can be in thousands of battles without being really old. It isn't like they only had one battle per year. There were probably battled everyday. These are the Zentradi we are talking about here.

Thank you, I'm glad someone gets it. I am actually not against debating physics of stuff from TV shows, but if it isn't even going to be discussed correctly (no offense to anyone) then there is no point. It is best to remember in the long term stuff is done to look cool, discussing physics is not to explain things but to try and reconcile how it might work if such a thing could be real (more for the purpose of amusement in my case rather than me actually thinking it could be done).

People need to stop arguing about the physics of the asteroid sniper scene please! First of all some of those physics are really off (though one of the posts got it mostly right), and before you bash me for saying that I am very saddened that I know enough to say I know that some of the physics conversation here wasn't right... I now know I really am an engineer.... I think we need to let the asteroid sniper thing go, it isn't worth it. Itano is both partly right and partly wrong, I'm not elaborating on my opinion because it really doesn't matter (someone will disagree anyway). What I will say though is, that asteroid sniper scene was freaking awesome, as well as any itano circus scene. I don't really care what the man bad mouths, stuff looks cool.

That also comes with the 1/48s though probably larger. Just a fill in piece, on the 1/48s it helps keep the backpack from falling when the Super parts boosters are attached. I don't know about the 1/60 version.

I'm a Macross addict because my fascination with the Fire Bomber music made me like Macross 7 and it set me on a path to listening and becoming a full on fan of Yoshiki Fukuyama. Indeed, BOMBAA!!

If she did in Japanese I wouldn't notice, but if it is one of those random English parts I would wonder myself (I haven't listened to any of it yet, I'm trying to wait for the CD, though I might break down and check a download since I already have it paid for anyway).

Heh, that was sure fast. Some people sure can't wait to serve the community... ah well I got the CD on the way. I'm good.

So I tend to often put on music while I'm doing work (as in homework for my difficult and sometimes aggrivating engineering classes). Lately Fukuyama music has been a majority of the playlist because I am trying out a lot of Hummingbird stuff for the first time, but also my normal set of his solo or Fukuyama band songs. Today however I did something different, since I am now waiting for a new Fire Bomber album I set my playlist to randomize the Fire Bombers songs I have now (Let's Fire, Ultra Fire, and Dynamite Fire are all I have there). I haven't listened to some of the songs in all of these albums in a long time because I had long ago picked out my favorites and only played them or made a new playlist with only those favorites. So I found myself hearing songs I hadn't heard in a long while. With all the other stuff I found myself liking the lot evenly but it was never the same with Fire Bomber in general for some reason. However despite picking out my favorites long ago I found it really refreshing to hear a lot of those other songs again. It was almost like hearing them for the first time (some it might have actually been the second time I listened to them). I just thought it was interesting so I'd post it.

Indeed. I don't know when to expect shipping notice so I'm expecting a week or more before I get it.

Damn the International Dateline! Re.Fire is released today in Japan. I forgot it worked like this. I have been having trouble deciding whether or not to preorder it. Guess I'll just be ordering it now. I think I've convinced myself I can spend the money (I know it is worth it of course). I just won't be buying a valkyrie this year like I once thought, but that is ok. EDIT: Ok, I went ahead and order it, . It was still listed preorder where I ordered from so hopefully I'll still get it in good time (I think the place I ordered from is stationed in Hong Kong anyway). Oh, and for the release: BOMBAA!!!

Heheh, this is starting to sound like something familiar. I can't quite make it out but I think this is heading in a direction we have all been before. I think I'll leave it at that, this topic might go nowhere but if it launches another ethics debate I'm just going to sit by an not saying anything this time.

Actually it seems the Pachinko market is a rather big deal in Japan as I have learned, so this is considered to be quite the honor for the franchise. I just take is as a win that we get to see these animations at all.

You are not alone, I like everything I've seen. Some parts of M7 are indeed stupid but the show is fun and the music rocks so it is good enough for me. There is a certain fondness in SDFM and DYRL than make me like them in ways I could never like M7 or Frontier. All of them I like in their own ways. Also being an engineering student it is all about the valks for me. The VF-1 always has a special place but I like a lot of the other types as well.
