    So I'm definitely late to the party but I finally watched 1.11, 2.22 & 3.33 over the weekend. While I enjoyed 1 & 2 the most, 3 on the other hand, I may have to re-watch again, it's definitely a different feel & look from the first two films. Battle scenes are great, Mari.... Giggity!!! Also, is 4.44 available yet? I've come this far I'd like to see how it ends.

    Whether it's Silvie (Red) or Nexx (Blue) I'm pretty sure I'll pick one up. I have a feeling once a colored/painted version is shown fans of the VF-2SS will be like screw it, I'll take the $$$ plunge! (I don't see Bandai or Arcadia making one anytime soon). And I really, really do hope that the next pics of this toy do show the SAP. If this sells really good one can only hope a VF-2JA & Metal Siren are to follow!

    Besides being hopeful on the SAP for this toy, I really hope the VF-2SS comes with this Rifle, I like the design much better!

    Sounds Like I should go see this one, been on the fence if this movie would be good or not. Plus you have good taste in films.

    I let things slide big time with the VF-0D because I figured much like the VF-4, probably won't see a reissue any time soon. But that light grey is really muted. I thought the shade used on the Yamato Zeros was far better. (Fingers crossed this is a test shot only)

    Arcadia (If they truly do have the molds) would be foolish not to re-issue the VF-4G and make a VF-4 Flashback version. I really would like to have the VF-4 but not at these insane aftermarket prices.

    I just realized it's only up to episode 4, so much for the YouTube title "Macross II the movie". The strike cannon appears to be a standard weapon on the SAP. Macross II while I still like it, always felt like the ultimate OVA that was constantly either over budget or just seriously lacked the proper funds. I can't imagine what it would look like today (Like the way Frontier was produced) if they took all the characters, uniforms, Mecha and then re-booted it with a correct canon storyline. (One can dream right..) Still, this new VF-2SS toy gives me some hope for other Mac II valks.

    Figure this, if this V.1 VF-2SS should actually sell really well, perhaps Bandai or Arcadia will get the clue and make their own version of the Mac II Valks. If this company got the licensing rights, how hard could it be for the other companies to do so...

    As a huge VF-2SS fan I like what I see so far, if it had the SAP Armor I'd really be stoked! I'll wait to see what the final product looks like before taking the plunge. P.S. my wallet just screamed at me again!

    Moving flaps is one the reasons I still love my 1/48's in fighter mode... articulated pilots, I like your style!

    Well if they do have the Tooling/Molds as well the license, releasing a Flashback VF-4 (with a proper Hikaru pilot) and a reissue of the VFX VF-4G,(Other variants of course) Arcadia would cash in like crazy if they did this. One can hope as I do regret not getting one when they 1st came out.

    I'm still hoping for this as well, a 1/60 or 1/48 scale VF-2SS + SAP! A Flashback 2012 VF-4 would be a great selection too!

    I have Hikaru's VF-1S Strike in both 1/48 & 1/60. If you can find a set in 1/48 I highly recommend it. While the 1/60 V.2 is far more poseable stable toy. The size of the older 1/48 still makes it a winner in my book. And while its just my personal preference I still like the 1/48 Battroid mode better than the 1/60, but thats just me. Although if you have a 1/48 getting the DYRL articulated hands is a must! You'll want that VF-1J too!
