Yep, put a bit of super glue on there and letting it set for a couple hours. First time that's ever happened to me with a VF-1 (straight out of the box, no less).

Tried to get a pic to compare whites. Arcadia VF-1J is top left; the rest are Yamato.

Ugh always something wrong.

Picked up my recent VF-11C for only 25k yen (about $210). Of course that was done in person at the Akihabara Mandarake. They have quite a lot of stuff in store that they never bother to list on the Web.

My awe at the color is matched only by my awe of its price tag.

Someone somewhere has probably asked this before but I can't find it, so I'll ask it here. Anyone know if the old Gallia IV fold set is compatible with the renewals? Specifically the wing mounted speakers.

Applied this fix to both my tornado sets last night and now they both look great! No more scraping the stabilizers on the ground due to saggy wings! Thanks for the easy fix!

Been seeing unopened 25Fs on Mandarake for about 15k yen. Not bad.

It's a pre-renewal DX, so it's staying in fighter mode, but glad to finally have one of these.

Probably just an erroneous listing. They do that sometimes. Once they mistakenly put up an unopened Hot Toys Iron Man Mark VI for only 6000 yen. I snatched it up immediately. An hour later I got a cancellation email.

I've ordered from pretty much every Mandarake branch and the Umeda & Fukuoka stores are always the slowest. Sometimes a week would pass before I received an invoice. Every now and then one of the other stores might take a few days to actually send an invoice. I've been to the Nakano and Akihabara stores... they're huge. Especially the Nakano store; it takes up several floors at the shopping center where it's located. Wouldn't surprise me if they occasionally had a hard time finding something on the shelves.

I haven't transformed mine but I noticed a lot of griping about the ankles. What exactly is wrong with them? I remember my VF-19 had pretty loose ankles but I fixed it by disassembling them and applying nail polish inside the ball & socket joint. Is it the same issue?

Whoa did someone say matte finish? Now I want two...

I've never paid above MSRP for any Bandai valkyrie and would like to maintain that track record, as tempting as another 25S is. Of course it's much easier to pass when you already have one and not been waiting years for Bandai to reissue...

I'm almost certain he had super parts in that episode.

I wouldn't expect the price to drop until after the November release date.

I got my Ozma long ago when it initially came out so I don't need one. If I manage to snag another, it's wm cheng's. I owe him that much for all the modeling advice he's freely given over the years.

That sucks. That's why I'm wary of buy any used toys, no matter how reputable the source. Yeah, I think the previous owner broke it, tried to fix it, then sold it to Mandarake without mentioning the break, and it was overlooked when they inspected the toy. I doubt they really do more than a visual inspection; they're not going to take out and play with every single toy that passes through their stores.
