    That's a goddamn fantastic picture! You got me thinking about ship sizes so I had to put some of them together to compare... 1/2000 Yamato, 1/2000 Enterprise-D, and 1/3000 SDF-1... which should be 50% bigger than seen here to be in scale. Can ships be considered hero units? (scale is off on this one due to perspective, of course)

    If it was a completed toy, I'd be all over that. I really don't have the time for model kits anymore. I might pick it up and just stick it on the back burner until some time in the future when I might have time to put it together.

    I bought my Aoshima for $150 back when they first came out. A bit pricey, but really worth it for a beautifully painted and illuminated model. About the price of a DX valkyrie for that time period. The eBay prices that are listed now are absolutely ridiculous.

    Very nice on the CD! Yeah they announced an XL Defiant NX-74205 already. Hopefully they address the shortcomings from the small scale one.

    The adapter tab slots into a correspondingly sized opening on the the underside of the metal frame. The gap directly below is for the "plank" sticking out of the backpack to pass through, if you don't have the SAP equipped. I'll get a pic when I get home.

    Also Eaglemoss. It's their XL line of ships, which are larger and better quality than their small ships. I'm waiting for them to release all the Enterprises plus the Defiant.

    Oh, I already got those. I'm eagerly awaiting the other Enterprises and the Defiant! Oh you know you want them! Buy them while they're doing their holiday sale! Oh man, we'd be much wealthier if we didn't have such habits! Well, financially wealthier, maybe. I guess I could live without my VF-1 Skull squadron... if you call that living. LMAO I wish I had thought of that!

    Dam noel! You're a consumer whore! Picked up a couple of the new Eaglemoss 10" starships during their sitewide sale. Happy to finally have a really good quality TV Enterprise in my fleet now! Saucer and secondary hull are diecast, so she's quite heavy for her size.

    That's the "lock" for the chest and no, it's not very secure. But then tabs that don't work very well are a signature of the HMR line.
