    That looks fantastic! I'd much rather have the speaker pod than a useless remote charger and glorified gun rack, at least when SP'd up! Curse you Bandai for not including it in your (really expensive) SP set! I'm sorry to hear about your kitty's passing, but it sounds like he had a good, long life with you. Yes, that's Harvey Dent, my blue point Siamese. Siamese kitties are hands down the best cats. Though Harvey is the biggest coward I've ever known lol

    I'm with Slave IV on this. My time is in short enough supply that it's more "cost effective" to just buy the PF than scrounge up decals and do it myself these days. If you do have the time and inclination to decal her up yourself, then great! It's always satisfying to do something yourself.

    lol I'm not into the Volks DD line not because they look bad, but because they're a lot of work to set up, what with the clothes and zippers and buckles and what not. What do I look like? A man who's not lazy? Some good quality 1/6 statues of the Walkure I'd probably get. Strange since I thought the show was garbage. That's about an average price, I'd say. The only other option is to try your luck at the lottery.

    The XL ships look fantastic and appear to have better QC. As for the smaller ships, my favorites are the Enterprise A and D, the Akira class, the Prometheus, TOS Enterprise, and the future Enterprise D. The first movie Enterprise, although the exact same mold as the A, doesn't have any of the Aztec surface detail or really any detail at all. She's not even the right color. Movie Enterprise is supposed to be white. The Reliant also looks great, but mine had a crooked nacelle. Had to break it off and glue it back on at the correct alignment.

    I'm thinking the promo pics shown are just reused pics from the regular edition. It's missing obvious markings like the big 301 on the lower stabilizers. Plus the markings are clearly stickers. You can see the sticker film.

    I wish they'd brought it back for the premium versions. So, the picture on the box shows Max & Miria's names on the canopy frame. Wait a second. That doesn't make sense. Isn't this just a trainer VF that was pressed into service as an impromptu wedding vehicle? Max already has a VF-1 assigned to him and Miria was an enemy combatant until, like, an hour before the wedding? And it's fully armed for combat in the middle of a wedding ceremony?! The kinds of trivial questions that come to me while I'm in the shower.

    Finally got around to opening that 1D I got last week. Oh rainbow canopy, how I've missed you! This is my first blue VF-1 and I must say it's quite striking. It makes me want my Max 1J RIGHT NOW!!

    Can you sand it off than smooth it out with polishing compound? Or does that not work on acrylic? I've been using clear nail polish if the peg isn't secure enough in the base.

    Just buy from NY or AE. Their prices are only slightly higher than if you lived in Japan and ordered directly from Arcadia yourself. You still have to pay for international shipping, but that goes for anything you buy.

    Now you're making me wish I had missed the first release so I'd have that money for this release.

    Oh man misaligned warp nacelles are the one thing that really annoys me. I had to fix my Reliant by breaking a nacelle off and reattaching it at the correct alignment.

    I knew HLJ would be the most expensive but hot damn that's even higher than I expected. Right now it seems only hero units are getting the PF treatment. I'd be very surprised (and interested) if Arcadia began doing PF versions of non-hero units.

    I like AE's unlimited PW. Being able to easily bundle everything together more than makes up for the 1000 yen price difference with NY.

    A great irony that the releases few were interested in when they came out are now ridiculously expensive.

    I'm not holding my breath on an XL version, that's for sure. I'll be happy if they just finished out the Enterprises in that line.
