    Bandai's general pattern seems to be not releasing anything that wasn't seen on-screen, so even if Bandai produces a Max 1S, there's a good chance you'll have to repaint your own skull insert if you want to have matching blue SSP. Or just use Roy's 001 black skull insert since Max has a black heat shield too.

    There was a rattling noise coming from the package for the third party nano gauntlet accessory pack... and it turned out to be a mini LED for the nano gauntlet! Wow! Bandai really half-assing their SHF efforts.

    I hope Bandai isn't pulling the plug on more secondary character TV valks because Max wasn't as in-demand as Hikaru. If Max only sold so-so, then Kakizaki will be worse, and Bandai might not bother with his TV version. We'll see.

    Yes it says 劇場版 which is the theatrical version. It's the movie Kakizaki. Also, I didn't know Yamato made TV version fast packs in 1/48.

    Endgame Thor arrived. Finally have the strongest Avengers assembled. I love that they even got Thor's artificial eye colored correctly this time.

    Those flimsy masks everyone wears are great for not spraying infected droplets everywhere when you sneeze, but beyond that they're pretty ineffective. They need to swipe some N95 masks from their local hospitals. I wear one when I'm spraying my toys/models.

    Welp, since I took Kakizaki out of the Detolf, I guess I should reshoot some pics now that I've upgraded past a phone camera.

    If you haven't had any damage, then great. I used the lacquer-based stuff for a long time without incident, until something did get damaged. Then I stopped because with such expensive toys you do not want even one incident. The Tamiya sprays even say right on the label not to use on decals. So whatever coats you guys want to use is up to you. Just be aware of the risks if you go the lacquer route.

    They were talking about the TV VF-1S, which was flown by both Roy and Hikaru, so the name on the cockpit would have to be different. I just went and got two of them and decaled a different name on each.

    Nice collection! For peeps who are new to such things, I'd be super careful with the Tamiya sprays and Mr Super Clear. They're lacquer-based and can damage decals and paint (stickers are okay). If you want to avoid that risk altogether, there's always water-based coats you can use, like Mr Hobby Topcoat. Those are completely safe to use on paint and decals.
