    I gotta say that up until very recently I didn't get the allure of having "one of everything". For example, the entire Vermilion squadron. I get toys based mostly on their aesthetics. If I like how it looks, I want it. Who the pilot was, etc was never much of a factor for me. Then I got the big Macross box set a few weeks ago and finally sat down and watched Zero, DYRL and PLUS. Now I kinda get it. I already had pretty much everything from Zero because I think they're beautiful. But, once I saw Roy with the Reactive Armor guess what went on the "must have list"? After watching DYRL I now want a DX VF-1A Hikaru with Supers. And after watching Plus I want another 21 to display in de-limiter mode along side one in regular mode. And maybe one more with a Fold Booster. So yeah, I get it now. You can put a Yamato YF-21 in De-limiter mode correct?

    I PO'd it through BBTS yesterday. I looked for it on AmazonJP and couldn't fine it. It's a shame. AmazonJP is usually a bit less money and you get it about 2mo earlier than BBTS.

    You're in good company. We're all pretty weird in one way or another. I personally have been described as an enigma by more than a few people. Basically if you take my hobbies, recreational activities, profession, personality, beliefs and how I look the combination is well.....weird. A lot of what people would consider contradictions. Maybe even oxymoron's! I wear it as a badge of honor. You should too. Who wants to be "normal"?

    I think the RAH is the best representation too. The Kaiyodod looks really good and I almost PO'd it yesterday. But no articulation is a deal killer for me. And at 18" it's too tall for most, if not all, cabinets. And I have a bit of a rule. Expensive toys go in cabinets. If it was articulated you could "pose it down" to be a little shorter. I like the MB's a lot. But in my mind they're not the "same" as a EVA. They're an interpretation. Actually I don't like the look of the MB vs the classic look more. I like them both the same for completely different reasons.

    This Hot Toys Prime/Starscream looks pretty cool. The paint apps are nice. It's is a floppy mess of a mess though. What a piece of trash. It's wedged up in the Detolf so it doesn't crumble. In it's defense it comes with a base and stick for his butt. I expected a lot more from Hot Toys. The last three Chinese KO's I unbowed are WAY nicer than this thing is.

    Yeah, unfortunately it seems like a really long climb for a short slide. I'd like to go. But it doesn't seem worth the time off work and the probable $1500 (minimum) cost. Too bad. I'd like to go. I'll go to Whistler in British Columbia and do some world class downhill mountain biking instead.

    I gave my groomsmen (all 8000 of them because my wife had an army of bridesmaids) custom engraved Spyderco knives. Learn from my mistakes. Don't do that. Just about all of them had cut themselves before the wedding even started. A lot of tuxes went back with blood on them.

    How big is this event? How many sq ft? How many in attendance? Anyone have pics from previous years? Here is the $64,000 question. Am I going to fly in for this? Is it a pretty big deal? What is the "party" scene like? I don't party/drink but a few times a year. Generally when I'm out of town at things like this. It would be nice if there is a fun party scene that revolves around the event. Is that a thing? Thanks!
