The rolley eyes mean sarcasm. I don't believe for a second it's any of those numbers. If you want to watch something horrifying watch Chernobyl on HBO. In the first episode a party boss gives a "pep talk" to the lower bosses about how it's going to be handled and what they're going to do with the population "for their protection". That's my impression of how this is probably going down in China.

If you get on the buy three (or four so you have an "extra") you don't have to worry about that stuff. Transform two of them once with gloves on and display. Problem solved. You're welcome.

I just realized I need another 1J for GBP. But if I get DX GBP then what am I going to do with my Arcadia GBP (which is damn near perfect). And my Hikaru shelf is pretty full. Dammit, this toy thing is hard!

You guys have far more experience than I do. I will defer to you. I just realized that I probably think about what they cost differently. To me shipping is part of the cost so in my head when I ask myself........self. What does that cost? It's the landed on your porch cost. Which is the real cost.

That makes sense. They will dilute each others market. It will be interesting to see where they plane out in 6-7mo. My guess is both will be going for $375-400. That is based on absolutely no insight or knowledge.

TY My quick and dirty analysis: -9 months after the 1J was released the going shipped rate on box open/new was $350 -2 months after the 1S was released the going shipped rate on box open/new is $300ish My non scientific conclusion is that we won't know for 6-7mo if the 1S ends up at the same street value as the 1J.

When were the 1J's released/shipped? That was before my time? I know what 1J's were going for when I got back into this. I'm curious how long it took for 1J's to get to their current value and compare that to where the 1S's are now.

Well said. I'd also like to add that no one is obligated to pay PF prices. Or to pay any price at all. Buying a $400 toy is a choice, not an obligation or necessity. It is not the same as the local convenience store/gas station selling bottled water and gas at a 1000% markup during a disaster. Everyone makes choices about what is worth what to them.

Hmmmmmmmm. I wish I was more excited. I have two Yamato Nora's already. Can't get excited about or justify Arcadia ones. And I'm just not that in to the VF-4.....maybe. I could be in for a single copy of a PF. First world collecting problems............I know. Come on DX Roy and YF-21!!!!
