  1. I was a HUGE Airwolf fan (and helicopters in general) when I was a kid so my impressions are going to maybe be a little rosy. I thought the Airwolf was fantastic. I never thought it lacked in anything aside from size. I could have been a wee bit bigger. That's a small complaint though. I have had my eye out for another Drop Ship and Black Airwolf at the right price since I got back into collecting. I'm still waiting.
  2. This is exactly what I did with my Alpha/Beta. No need to temp fate. I'll transform the Sentinel ones. And hopefully they release a Beta/Tread.
  3. I just paid a LOT more than that for the exact same thing.
  4. I had the Aoshima one back when they got released. I sold it when I sold my entire collection off in 2009-2010ish to help fund a business. That is the one piece I REALLY regret selling. Oh yeah, I regret selling the Airwolf I had too.
  5. I hear you. I looked at those pulse rifles and asked myself am I crazy enough to get a replica pulse rifle for the same money as a real rifle? I'm not. I wish I was though!
  6. 44in long Sulaco. Pretty damn cool! But at $1200 not going to happen for me. I'd get one of the pulse rifle replicas (Or better yet the one with the AR-15 "guts" and fully operational before this thing. https://bleedingcool.com/collectibles/aliens-ship-uss-sulaco-gets-a-large-scale-replica-from-hcg/
  7. Pretty good deal on a Toynami Alpha/Beta https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-Robotech-Masterpieces-Alpha-Beta-Scott-Rand-VFB-9H-Legioss-Tread/184256020100?epid=691421542&hash=item2ae683be84:g:6ogAAOSw5XxemJGe
  8. Oh my goodness.
  9. Depending on how long this lasts someone who was based in Japan and had a partner in the US could probably do alright offering a service to get stuff out of Japan. Something like ship a bog box/crate out of Japan once a week by DHL or something into the US. Then disperse the packages once in the US. I'm not volunteering.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

I wish! He's booked through the end of 2021.
  11. Is there some 1984 symbolism that I'm missing. Or was that book being their coincidence?
  12. Your support points with the landing gear are in about the same place that Flightpose stand is supporting from. Jenius has FAR more toy handling chops than I do so this may just be a fluke. But the arms on mine are pegged in there pretty good. It passes the wiggle test. Are they as good as they could have easily been done? Not even close. A chimp could have come up with something better.
  13. All three at the same time maaaaaaann. It's a real trip ya see!
  14. Mine has been like this since about 7-8 days after the SSP's were released. Half of the time I was using the Bandai stand adapter and a YetiStand and the other half on the Flightpose stand. No sag at all. It may be helped by how it's supported. I'm not sure what you're referencing in @jenius video because I haven't seen it. At one point he wasn't aware that you have to brute force the legs into the pegs by the back of the wings. I don't blame him, it was pretty scary the first time I pegged them in there all the way. A real stepping off of a cliff moment (I thought I was going to break it). If the video was done pre brute force pegging (don't Google that) that could explain some of the sag. Or I'm completely confusing the situation. I'd put the odds at 50/50.
  15. If that's @Lolicon I'd wager he put those there. He's all about the details.
  16. It's a DX. The HUGE kite is the giveaway (I think).
  17. With it showing the articulation and the voice I thought I was watching a JobbytheHong video.
  18. I canceled all of my ShowZ PO's. After this COVID thing I'll look at getting some more stuff from them.
  19. I know right? I've got a 21 and 22 on the shelf above it. But I'm planning on adding some DX's some day. Hopefully. Challenge accepted!
  20. Popped the 19 out and put it in Gerwalk. The ol Plus shelf is looking pretty good! The 21's are on the shelf above it. I need to shuffle them all together at some point.
  21. I wouldn't call it an analysis. It's more along the lines of seeing what others are doing/not doing and trying to get some sort of forecast from people that should know. Most economists wouldn't be able to say what's going to happen with any confidence. There is no precedent to base it on. That's big picture though. Small picture like luxury goods, toys, motorcycles/motorsports stuff, fast cars, boats, vacations, expensive hobbies, etc there is a little precedent. The housing crash of 2008. First hand I know everything to the left took a massive hit (I don't know about the toys specifically). The power-sports industry was cut in half. It was just starting to recover then this happened. Because no one knows an end date to this thing it's really hard to make predictions. But, everything I'm seeing is pointing toward it being much worse than the housing crash. No one knows what is going to happen so a lot of people (the smart ones) are preparing for the worst. The worst being something we have never seen before. We could be in a full blown cold war with China before this is over. I'm not hoping for any of this. I like money.
