    LEK got back to me. He only needs $50 to save a spot in line. The wait is now up to 3rd quarter 2022.

    I'm having a custom Matchbox SDF-1 done right now. Cel shading was an option I really wanted. But then I thought about my display that it goes in and how it would look with a bunch of HMR's not cel shaded. I didn't think it would look right and I'm not getting a squadron of HMR's done so I passed. Now I'm second guessing myself.

    My bad on that pandemic thing. Yeah, from the sound of it he just holds your spot in line??? I never got that far with him. I suppose I should have asked that. EDIT: I just asked him. I'll let you guys know.

    Or get 3-4 things. I had three Yamato 1/48 boxes show up from Mandy Friday. Amortized it cost me I think it was $37/ unit. Which isn't bad at all. Especially only taking 3 days. It's tough to find 3-4 things at one location though. I have a Sarha (sp) order sitting in my wish list that I would really like to have one more unit in to make the shipping make more sense. Do you guys know if Mandy is shut down for Golden Week too? I don't see anything o the site.

    OMG, you took that 8 million dollar MISB unit out to display?!?!?! I told you to do that to see if you would!! Kind of like, "I'll bet you won't jump off that bridge........wuss".! j/k, that sucker needs to be on display. So awesome.

    That's some bucks! IMO he should get that much. I showed a buddy of main that paints (paintings) and he was shocked that he did that much work for so little. And a 2yr waiting list says something about the pricing too. It's not too high. A DX with SSP's is quite a lot of work.

    I just checked my email. No money up front. It's a good move in his part. It's not like he's really going to get stuck with something. Not with a waiting list like that. $750 to do a DX with SSP's.

    I was going to pull the trigger in January. Then he let me know the wait time. I thought, "The world could end between now and then" ..................and then this happened. So the pandemic is my fault. Sorry guys.

    Luck of the draw. I'm working on the right grey for some SSP's now. I'm waiting on my third color to show up right now. I'm going to have a lot of grey!
