Anybody else's Roy 1/48 have sctratch marks on the chestplate or wings? Don't tell me my luck is that bad. At least I can't see them in normal lighting. It's just one of those things you know is there and bugs you.

I would say Midnight Blue, a few shades away from being black.

The eva-ripoff in Burn Up Excess looked better than that POS.

Seen what's been fansubbed so far. I have to say it's great. It is all high school stuff so far, but well executed. Sousuke in the Bonta-kun constume was funny as hell.

I can't marathon like I used to, especialy the same show or movie series, and that's at home. There is no way I'll survive 12 hours in the movie theater. I will watch the Director's cuts on the old HDTV a day each prior to heading to the movies to watch Part 3. Couple of weeks later I may go back to see Part 3 again.

Like always, we have big tanks, they want big tanks, we have nuclear weapons, they want nuclear weapons, we have transforming fighters, they want something to counter that. Who knows if they even realized it was to counter giant aliens. UN spacy had direct control over the ASS-1, so it's likely the Anti-UN didn't suspect what was coming in a few years.

I was always under the belief that the Supervision Army and the Protodevlin/Varuta were SEPARATE entities. The big war between the Supervision Army and the Zentradi had been ongoing since Protoculture. We have never seen a Supervision Army fleet in action, but signs point they're being similar to the Zentradi. The supervision army belonged to one side part of Protoculture, and the Zentradi belonging to the other side of Protoculture, with those sides of Protoculture really being the ones at war with each other. The Protoculture eventually made the Protodevlin independently, and in the end could not control them, after they were "posessed" as it were. The Protodevlin enslaved the Megaroad 13 fleet after they stumbled on where they were imprisoned, creating the Varuta. In the temple during M7 they seemed to explain these aspects pretty well, except for Megaroad 13 bit. They didn't seem to explain that very well in the show, but it has been explained elsewhere. We have only officially seen 2 Supervision Army ships, to my knowledge. The SDF-1 in its original form, and the "derelict" ship the gang came across on the way to the Zentradi factory station, which apparently according to source was gone when someone returned later to examine it. Some Varuta ships may be based off of Supervision Army designs but they were derivatives of the originals, built by the Varuta similar to the Fz-109 being derived from the VF-14, for example.

Don't forget Crest of the Stars/Banner of the Stars if you want to see an excellent, serious sci-fi. Love it.

Bruce Lee was the undisputed man. That figure does a surprising justice to him. A few odd points on the sculpt, but for articulaton you kind of have to otherwise he would be just fixed pose. And that wouldn't be as fun. Any word on size and/or pricing for it?

Some things you can do in fighter, some in Battroid. A Valkyrie enables the pilot to handle any circumstance, and to choose the appropriate mode to do what they need to do.

Cook up some chocks for it, or buy one of Sithlord's display stands. Easiest way to deal with it is to just plop it on a stand.

Without a doubt, watch Evangelion. Rurouni Kenshin, Escaflowne, Full Metal Panic, Cowboy Bebop, Berserk, and FLCL are easy recommendations, as well.

I have the Kawamori design works, but never noticed that one. Guess I have to flip through it again.

Looks Like an Aile Strike VF-1, kind of.

1/60 for me. More affordable, still a good size with good detail, and if I really like it I can get a second to put in battroid without killing myself. A 1/48 would look sweet though I'm sure. I'm anxious to see how the design and transformation come out.

VF-1A CF for me. After that a proper VF-11 Thunderbolt.

Should be akin to the competition today between Lockheed-Martin and Boeing for contracts.

Or a 22 as was orginally planned Man, going from badass Ghost killer to titted valk... <_< Haven't heard about a 22 for Mylene before. Guess that idea was scrapped to make the VF-22 Max/Millia exclusive for the show.

The Longbow Attack Helicopter has that radar "rod" in the front doesn't it? Sorry, I can't remember the specific name. It can hide behind a hill or obstacle, sticking that thing out and see what's around. Kind of the same thing with the telescoping head. Could be very useful in gerwalk mode, especially in urban combat.

Actually, given the nature of the VF-11's transformation, the delta wings shouldn't matter. I say the actual VF-11MAXL had the delta wings as part of the upgrade. Sources did say there were airframe or structural improvements to go with the new engines, right? Dr. Chiba just built the Sound Force Valks based off of existing fighters, just modified for the sound equipment. It wouldn't have made sence for him to alter the proven airframe of the VF-11 just for Mylene, especially considering the time factor involved. He could easily have given her a standard VF-11 modified with the sound equipment, but had he given her that, she just would not have been able to keep up with the Sound Force VF-19 and VF-17T. Remember the trench with the 17's and 19's smoking the 11's in the run? The others would have had to slow down fer her. Therefore he would have used the upgraded MAXL design to compensate, something that was special order to begin with and was why we didn't see it more. If it wasn't for the MAXL variant she would likely have had a 17 or a 19 as well.

Like those crazy custom paint jobs they showed in that one episode of M7?

I would also like to see some lineart detailing its transformation. It seems to me a mix of the 19's and 14's transformations. I can't really figure it out from the little they've shown. That thing does look awesome in black. Anyone know anything about it's active stealth capability?

That is true, forgot about that. I think he is on the fast pack stickers though, too, isn't he? Probably depends on how well Max sells. I probably wouldn't get him anyway. I just want my CF for now. Maybe an LE Angel Birds or Blue Rose.
