I won't be getting a Monster, unless Yamato make a smaller, more affordable verion, which I hope they do. 1/100 or 1/144 like someone suggested somewhere. The other destroids remains to be seen, based on how they turn out, and what price Yamato wants.

He was shot first for questioning firing Genesis at Washington (figures they would make Washington the Pacific Alliance HQ), and he pulled out a gun and shot Patrick to try to stop him.

Afte rewatching the finale 2 more times, I'm in the camp now that Kurueze is dead. The beam saber punched into the cockpit, pushing the door aside, and you can tell when his helmet glass breaks that his mask is pulled off by the vacuum. The blade itself didn't touch him though, it was off to his side. The no helmet issue and then getting plowed by the genesis beam would mean that if he were to survive then it would be the most miraculous escape ever. Kira at least managed to get away from the center of the blast, and look what happened to Freedom. Kurueze caught it head on. We'll see what happens next time I guess. I could not help but feel sorry for Fllay towards the end. They actually managed to kind of turn her into a tragic character. I'm not sure if they'll use the same cast specifically for the next show. Most, probably, but a few I think will go to cameo status if anything, or change roles slightly. It'll be harder for Ramius to be captain again if she end up a mommy for instance. Leave Bartfeld in charge. It's a long time to speculate though.

Too big and too expensive for me. 1/48's are about as high as I can go, and that's pushing it. Have 2 of those, and will probably only buy new LE's after these two. The monster would just kill too much space for one item.

Yamato 1/60 VF-1S was the first valk I've had.

Funny thing, Duel came out of this one with the least damage this time! No chopped off legs! He lost the Assault Shroud and the Shield but that was it. And he got a new shield. Next was Strike Rouge, with not that much damage either by comparison. Buster got f^%$^% up. I expected Freedom and Justice to be destroyed anyway. Whether Freedom is salvagable or not is debatable. Might be easier to just build a new one.

Never mind, I screwed up. Insert foot in mouth. Looked at the shoulder emblems again. Zaft, not Alliance. I'm dumb. Guess they were Zaft loyalists, or Klien Faction if you want to call them that. Good. Simplifies something at least. Villains for the next show can be a surprise.

In Wing, I found Relena highly annoying, and wished someone would have told her to pull her head out of her @$$. Lacus turned out to be quite the interesting character, and through the couple of times she got really serious, like in the concert hall, you can see she is much stronger willed and knowledgable than she would seem at first glance. The blond chick at the end was one of the Zaft councilwomen, apparently a Klien Faction supporter. She did call Sigel in Ep. 34 to tell him about Spit-break's target change.

That's actually a pretty crappy catwoman costume. Imagine catwoman fight with that. Pure cheese.

Half of Lux's outfits are like that, while the other half are conservative stuff. Like all of the fanservice in Gundam SEED, I don't see a problem. While a peace activist, Lux is 1000x better than Relena and more good looking too. Agreed.

Good Point. Hopefully he's dead, but you never know with these shows. How did Tori bird fly through space for example? Overall a very good ending I think. Wide open for Seed 2 of course, maybe then we'll get some answers to the hanging questions then. Few points: Now Kira can sense Kurueze, just without the ping for now. Kira was just like Mwu as far as Kurueze was concerned the way he pinged whenever Kira got near. Nice fight. That combined with Fllay's goodbye pretty much sinches the coordinator-newtype thing for me. I wonder how this will play out. Kind of ironic to see Duel with one of Strike's spare shields. Since he resupplied on Archangel, why not hook him up. And on a side note, it was kind of cruel to leave the Astray pilot running around with Athrun and Cagalli with no face. Just a black faceplate. Talk about nameless CF. Also, it wasn't Nicol's father that shot Patrick after all. He was next to the guy that shot him. I think we've seen him, before, I just don't know who he is. Maybe he was just random guy 212. Why not? When I rewatch the series eventually I'll keep an eye out for him and see if I see him. And I agree, they need to clarify what the deal is with the fossil. There has to be something more to it than "hey look what we found." I don't even want to speculate what though too much. Watch it be somehting wierd though. Overall, great series. I'm happy to have this as a starting branch for a new timeline of shows. Lets hope the rest are as good, if not better. They has some slow spots at first, but the overall pacing wasn't bad. My only issue is having so many loose plot threads, but with a second series on the way, it can be forgiven.

minor spoiler......... They didn't even show his eyes. Maybe he survives the blast just like Kira though Kluze took the total hit from the beam....who knows!? In anime, anything is possible. Kira's Gundam is practically melting and yet he survivies. Kira's vision scene is similiar to that in the original Gundam as well as those "funnels". Old ideas are still used today after so many years of Gundam. Don't forget the shot scene......that is also similiar to that in the original Gundam. It's possible Klueze got out. The zaft guys seem to tend to have those jet pack things with them to escape with, so he could have gotten himself away. Kind of like when Asuran self destructed the Aegis, he tried to fly away with the pack. Wouldn't surprize me if we see Klueze again. He could be useful anyway to help clear up the remaining plot points. Then kill him.

Couldn't help but skim through it some before I went to work. Doesn't look like they show his face. Helmet glass cracks, mask burns up or comes off, but his hair is in the way. I'll watch it for real during lunch. I also get he impression that had Fllay come through alive her and Kira would have hooked right back up. Especially with her not being Ms. B&^*# anymore. Kind of a sad scene. Also, Kira's vision of her goodbye screams newtype again. Cue Lalah scene. Klueze lights everyone up with those funnels. The backpack keeps those things charged up really well. Also, he had the newtype ping again when Kira approached. Good action. Was it Nicol's father that shot Patrick? Can't tell for sure yet.

Welcome aboard. If this is what you're talking about, the chest area does not lock over the nosecone when you transform it. It just sits on it. The pic is referring to sections A, B and C of the fuselage. Where B and C in the picture meet together in fighter mode is where the Tab A/Tab B were. The Tab B problem was with the 1st edition YF-19. All you can do is be careful where you put it, so you don't topple it over, and make sure you position the legs good so it doesn't lean in battroid. I leave mine in fighter mode on one of Sithlord's stands, personally. To transform from Fighter to Battroid, you just reverse the instructions exactly. Edit in: 45 bucks is a steal for one of those, by the way. Nice find. Where are you at?

After getting smacked around be Kira throughout the series, it was actually interesting to see Yzak actually do good against the three stooges. And the providence has grown on me as well, if anything for how it screams newtype MK-II.

This site has a lot of images from the finale. Can't wait to see it. It's very rare for a series to kill the central character off. Make him a vegetable, maybe, but not kill him. Other main characters, such as Mwu are fair game technically, though I had hoped he would come through ok. Seeing those pics, I kind of feel sorry for Fllay. She stopped being a b&^% but her luck never improved. At least there will be no love triangles to deal with in the second series. Can't tell which Gundams come out intact specifically, but it looks like everyone takes a measurable beating. Here's to the long wait for Seed 2. Then we can start the specuations all over again. On the plus, I'll have Zeta to hold me over until then. As soon as Bandai releases the box set early next year. Come tomorrow or Tuesday, those of us that were waiting for the subbed version will be able to discuss the end further.

The old PS1. Brought us Castlevania SOTN, MGS, FFVII, Soulblade, and so much more. The screen add on for the PS1 was a lifesaver for TDY's in the Air Force. First system I ever stayed up all night playing, too.

Many of us would like to see a second season of Berserk. Unfortunately nothing concrete has come about plans for a second tv series yet. Maybe after the manga series finishes it's run. It's still ongoing, to my knowledge.

The virtual boy was one of the biggest flops/dumbest idea in the industry so far. They even touted it as portable!!! Hah!! POC. Gets my vote. The Phillips CD-i was another useless machine. The new Nokia cell phone game handheld looks to follow the same path. $300 for a handheld, and you have to take the back cover and battery out to swap the cartridges. Who is going to trust their kids with that one? The Neo-Geo CD might have done decent if they gave it enough memeory and decent CD-ROM drive. It was a 1X wasn't it? It's load time were no where close to being acceptable. The PS1 kicked its butt. I'd say that's my second choice for worst system. On a lighter note, the Jagaur's Aliens vs. Predator tv ad was sweet. Tap-tap. "What is it mom?"

The CGI screamed low-budget. Tho whole thing was built as a 4PM slot kid show amd that's about it. Cobra Commander was annoying as hell, the original was whiny, this one was just annoying. I also thought it was kind of funny how Duke walked around with all those grenades and stuff. All the time. And yes, beachhead was ruined. At least they didn't make Snake Eyes talk. He was as silent as ever. That's it for me for this show.

You probably heard already, but they are trying to get the kid from Harry Potter as Shinji... I was under the impression that that was just a rumor.

Synapse's execution was in the DVD insert's timeline. I didn't catch in the show where it was mentioned, but he might have implied what was coming for him before the end fight. I've only sat through the show once so far.
