  1. I went and saved the screen shot clusters from here http://wgalland.hp.infoseek.co.jp/200309b.htm and edited one. I toyed with the idea of using the shot with Azrael with the gun and the psycho look in his eyes but it didn't look too good with this site's size limit. Thanks. Sorry to copy your trick, but this image seemed to fit my title so nicely.
  2. I can sleep easy now, thanks Abombz!! for taking time to get the screen cap.
  3. I'll have to look when I get home tonight. I'm pretty sure that one is on OST 3. The song that played on the bridge with Natarle and Azrael in 49 is on it too. I love the soundtrack for this series. By the way, Druna Skass, how did you make the new avatar?
  4. That's the one. I made a typo and put 48 instead of 47. Sorry bout that. Thanks a lot. Is it on OST II?
  5. Does anyone know the name of the song from 29's fight, episode 35 when Kira showed up with freedom, and played again in 47 with the nukes? I can't find it, and I'm wondering which OST it's on. Just got OST 3 and it wasn't on it. Edit: Fixed 48 to 47 like it should have been. Very sleepy today.
  6. I was really hopeing to see a beam saber only duel (or the Strike with that huge sword) between those two, ah well... On another note, when do we see Le Klueze's face? Yes, I have missed the Sword Package. Last time we saw it was when Kira destroyed the Blitz Gundam. That's it. It has been Launcher or Aile ever since. Shame. Beam Saber on Beam Saber fight would have been cool. At least we got some Dendrobium-style large beam sabers on the Meteors. I would say we see Kuruze's face in the finale. As he takes a beating, he loses his helmet, and the mask. Or he takes it off. I am now hoping very much to see his former subordinates gang up on him. That would be very interesting to see. Providence's design seems pretty good to me. A good size funnel array, and it really does look like a Newtype equipped Titans Mark II. Kinda sweet in that regard. As for Mwu, he would have layed the smacketh on Kuruze had they been on equal ground, but he was always put in that handicap position when he had to fight him. MA vs Ginn, Launcher Strike vs CGue, and now Aile Strike vs a bunch of funnels. At least it took the mother of cap ship lasers to take him down for good. The only weapons in Seed bigger than the Lowengreen are the WMD. I have never seen V, so I can't comment on the Shriek squadron. It would have been nice to see more of the Astray group though. I don't think we ever even saw them launch from the Kusanagi. The could have shown at least a couple board their MS and launch occasionally. Remind us that there are more than just the Gundams on board. Especially the last group launch, right behind or in front of Cagalli, there should have been at least one or two. All we got from them were fighting a few mobile suits on occasion, and the blonde cutting the cable from the ship a few episodes back. They didn't get much screen time on earth, in space they really got the cutting room treatment. Now, another side question: In Panama, if that really was an EMP weapon with an N-Jammer Canceller (as it seems to me, I can't think of anything else), what kind of shielding could the Zaft forces have had to protect themselves? They were right there, too. This one has bugged me a little. They never directly explained what the Panama weapon was, or Alaska for that matter. I figued Alaska's Cyclops was a giant Microwave generator array. Anyone know any specifics about those two weapons? At least they were nice enough to explain that Genesis is a giant Gamma-ray Laser cannon.
  7. UAV. Early version of the Ghosts the SDF-1 was supposed to have, but we never see.
  8. Maybe Cagali, a little payback for Orb. Hmm, starting to like that idea better. OK, Cagalli for wiping out the Raider. And while Kira is doing his thing, whatever that ends up being, Asuran may end up fighting Kuruze. Hell, Asuran, Yzak, and Deakka should all gang up on their old commander. Edit: spelingg
  9. Does anyone know a method which I could use to repair or seal the cracks on the intakes/hips of my 1/48 Hikaru? I can't get any pics of it at this time, but around the square hole each intake is cracked in several places. The start of it was my own fault transforming it. Having to move the legs again to attach the Fast Packs has made it worse. I have tried taking off the leg and applying model cement, but it keeps coming right back apart. A lot of you guys are pros at this stuff, and I want to be prepared in case Monkey-N is unable to secure my intakes from Yamato, like most everyone else's parts. Some kind of putty or something, perhaps? Can anyone help?
  10. Looks like some kind of cross-show SD fighting game.
  11. Looked like a J to me with a blue version of Hikaru's paint job. That's what I thought it was, too. Kind of greyish with a blue stripe. i just watched my copy of Mac + twice,... in my copy it is red. is there more than one version of mac +?? I haven't looked again yet. It was during the competition scenes, Isamu and Guld were blasting targets with the paint balls. A N-ger (I think), popped up holding a VF-1J hostage, and Isamu blasted both of them. That's the one I'm talking about.
  12. Who do you guys think will destroy the Raider guy finally? I say Buster.
  13. The lack of customer service from Yamato in this case is going to make me very cautious about making an expensive purchase from Yamato again. At least until they prove their QC has improved. The Max and Low-vis appanently came out fine. Let's hope they keep it up. The stuff they screwed up on on my Roy though is ridiculous. I will likely wait for reviews before I buy any new 1/48's or something a large as the SDF-1 is going to be. I just hope I can get the intakes still for my Hikaru 1/48 if I end up keeping it, or at least as spares in case something happens to Roy. The cracks on Hikau's 1/48 were my own fault on that one though. I don't know why they don't want to sell parts to fix their expensive valkyries, they would still make an additional profit off of just that. This is a Toynami-level screw. Edit: Toned it down a little.
  14. I thought they were going to go ahead and name him Galvatron, after his "upgrade."
  15. The anime was pretty good, but the manga expanded things much better, ended quite well. There were a lot of things I read in there that I now miss not having in the show. Where the Spring Special ended for instance, the manga kept going to show exactly how they got home. Good stuff. I enjoyed both, but the manga definately gets the nod.
  16. A nicely done M1 Astray might be nice to have.
  17. Looked like a J to me with a blue version of Hikaru's paint job. That's what I thought it was, too. Kind of greyish with a blue stripe.
  18. This is one of the reasons I still have hope for Newtypes in there for the second series. Both Mwu and Kuruze did the Newtype ping. Kuruze even sensed Kira approaching a few episodes back. Which leaves more to wonder there as well. Kuruze and Mwu used funnels, though they never specified how. In the beginning of the series there was mention that Mwu was the only guy anyone knew of who could do it. The wording of the acronym leaves some credence that Newtypes are starting to show up again, just no one there knows what it is or how to recognize it at this stage. And the three stooges were not coordinators, either. Some early experiment subjects for something. Of couse all this Newtype talk is just speculation. Until we get those answers. It will be a long wait for the second series.
  19. Okay, the VF-1X was an upgrade provided to all remainging VF-1's years down the line in order to increase their longevity. VF-4's, VF-5000's, and VF-11's were in use and the VF-1's that were left, mostly on frontier planets and such had these upgraded VF-1X's, with new engines and avionics, and such. Kind of like how we keep upgrading the internals of the B-52. They did not produce new VF-1's, but they went ahead and maintained what ones were left for what it was worth. Millia's classic VF-1J in Macross 7 would technically have been classified as an X as well because it too would have recieved the engines and other upgrade packages. I could have sworn it was a 1J the paint balls hit. I need to watch M+ again.
  20. Perfect description for this POS.
  21. On that note, I wonder if Kira goes out in a similar fasion as Amuro did in Char's Counterattack... Is this the only Gundam series where nobody has tried or even thought about dropping a colony or something big on Earth? They are aiming a giant Gamma-ray laser cannon at earth. Probably a little more destructive than a colony drop. It would kind of suck to see Kira die at the end of this, but the preview does not look very hopeful. I don't dislike Asuran any more, but I still don't want him at the head of the next series. Even if Kira self-destructs Freedom someone could give him a lift before it blows. I know I'm being optimistic. They've turned main characters into vegetables, but they don't kill them too often. Especially not the "main" main character. Supporting cast are fair game. We'll see very soon, I guess. Char's Counterattack was an exception to the rule, as is allowed for a pull out the stops finale. And I too, said "Yeeeah" when Yzak sliced up Forbidden. That guy annoyed me.
  22. Here is what the SEED acronym spells out, from Episode 27: S uperior E volutionary E lement D estined-factor Chief Shimonz, the scientist girl, was going to incluse something about it in her report, She mentioned the acronym, said it raised a stir at in institution when it was introduced, said "an accurate and concise investigation of Kira..." then deleted the item after changing her mind to bring it up at that time. So at least she knows something about it as well, though once again she doesn't share it yet. I still smell coordinator-newtypes, but that's me just being hopeful.
  23. If I were there in the battle, I would have summed it up to him as, "You've managed kill just about everyone else. But like a poor marksman, you keep missing the target." Ummm. he was "missing" on purpose, in short, he was torturing her, from beginning to end, how else would he have had time to spout all his Blue Cosmos rhetoric. I kind of liked Natarle, though she had a huge stick up her @$$. Natarle's only sin was being blinded by duty. Sucks that she went out so hard, Azrael deserved that death, not her, but as William Munny so eloquently put it..."deserve ain't got nothin' to do with it". I like how she told him "You deserve to die here. With me." It's a shame he did that to her, but at least she redeemed herself from being such a hardass towards everyone. My opinion of her has raised some thanks to how she handled herself today.
  24. This also goes in with there had to be more colonies. Who else would have picked the people from Heliopolis up? As for Orb the country, they were most likely occupied by the Alliance, but since the spaceport was destroyed, there was no further use for Orb really, so maybe they left them alone after that. Another loose thread to be explored. We don't know to what extent the population was evacutated, and we don't know where they went. As for that, it refers either to the Seed mode, or whatever the purpose behind it is. Hopefully we'll get sufficient answers in series 2. Edit: Yes it is an acronym, just remembered. They only showed it once or twice, but it was there. Again, they didn't elaborate it, but it was something that was being studied. I have to look for it again. I think it was when Kira and co. were in Orb, and the scientist lady was gathering her information. One of the "recap" episodes. I'll look tonight. So it was her first, and then later Markio made a comment about it.

I believe it was Sithlord who originally posted the mid-flight transformation pic. It was from his original thread way back. He also had a good one with a VF-11 holding up a YF-21 just like in Macross Plus.
