  1. So I'm a few more episodes into the show. Miko has *gag* grown on me a bit. Only a bit, though, since it's more Bulkhead's protectiveness that I like. I'm just no longer activly wishing her death and misery on an episodic basis. I love how every character gets its chance to shine. Soundwave is awesome, even without saying a single word on his own. His unending loyalty to Megatron is impressive. And speaking of Megsie... Oh Em Gee, this is one bot I'd be terrified of. I've always held Beast Wars Megatron as the best villian but I'm having to rethink that... EDIT: aaaaaand as of Episode 15, I've regressed a bit. My new (old) outlook: Kill the girl! *mouth froth* Kill her now!
  2. I don't mind that so much, since Optimu isn't the POV character of this show. Even in his G1 incarnation, all his doubts and self-loathing were private; he always projected the image of a calm, competant, unflappable leader. Since we don't get to hear Prime Prime's inner monologue, I'm fine with filling in the blanks with my own personal interpretations. Also? Ratchet is by far my favourite character. "<insert name>, I needed that!"
  3. Isn't he just? This is a Starscream whom I can legitimatly belive is vying for Megatron's leadership AND has a decent shot of getting it (and doing well with it instead of just screetching, "Retreat!!!!").
  4. That was... astonishngly epic. Especially for a Lucasfilm film.
  5. It's slowly growing on me. I like the in medias res aspect of the story, but the human characters are almost all vomit-inducing. Especially Miko I also dislike Bumblebee and his non-voice voice, but I like how the story seems to focus on Arcee. Speaking of Arcee, does anyone instantly think of Priss from Bubblegum Crisis when looking at her robot mode?
  6. And that was the only reason I didn't immediatly exit the film, stage-left. But it does become the centre of my statment that Joe Johnston is a graduate of the George Lucas Directing School.
  7. The difference being, Contact wasn't that bad. I have no hopes for this movie to be even that salvagable.
  8. Is it wrong that as soon as I see that Other Earth in the sky the first thought I has, "Well, there go the tides."?
  9. This was a basic summer flick, nothing more or less. It didn't have Iron Mans charm or Thors shakesperean themes, but it wasnt terrible. Chris Evans owned the role and brought some humanity to the superhero. That being said, I'd sooner rewarch Thor than this. Joe Johnston is a graduate of the George Lucas directors academy and it showed. 7/10 soley on Evans and Tommy Lee Jones
  10. ... leave your computer...? *boggles* I'd like a 500w as well, but I don't think my case can physically support it. The 500w is about 2 inches larger in depth than the 350w I've got in there and there's this block of parts in the way. I think the 400w will fit, based on the dimensions on the box.
  11. So with the (finally!) posting of TORs sysreqs, I've found that my 4 year-old HP "media" computer doesn't have the graphical horsepower to play it. I have a 350w power supply and need an nVIDEA 7800 or better to play it. I currently have a *ptui!* 7250 that came with the box. Can anyone suggest a replacement card that'll fit the bill and existing PS? And if not, how difficult is it to bump up to a bigger power supply? Just pop the old one out, pop the new one in, plug in all those fiddly electronic cables and away I go?
  12. I'm still amazed at the number of tattoo's Jason Frank is sporting these days. "Yeesh" doesn't quite begin to cover it.
  13. All the "Bayformers are a crap franchise!" dog-whistling going on, I'd like TF 4 to bring us to Cybertron. There have been hints of it in the first and third films, but I'd really like to see it on-screen. After War for Cybertron gave us a good idea of what the Great War was like, I'd enjoy seeing more of that perhaps in a prequel.
  14. Bah, this is the ultimate Aliens vs crossover
  15. I like the Bayformers because they're alien robots, with the emphasis on alien. I like how they wear their vehicle parts as clothes and can see the alien bits underneath. Kinda nifty, eh?
  16. It took me a while, but I've come around to accept them. I'm not to thrilled about how the men are all Made of Iron and the women all have the Most Common Superpower, but I can deal with it. I just hope the animations are up to par, since the annoying thing about KOTOR was how I'd be duking it out with two mooks and my PC would only react to one of them, not dodging or parrying the second. That needs to be addressed.
  17. That repaint of MP Hot Rod almost looks Shattered Glass-esque. The price is still too much for me, though.
  18. I'm of two minds with this film: I enjoyed it, but I think it lacked the definitive "set piece" that each of the first two films had. TF had Arrival to Earth, and ROTF had the awesome Forest Battle. This one... didn't have any one scene that left me going, "OMGGGGGGGG". Also, Kevin Dunn as Ron Witwicky is my favourite human of the whole series. I just love the dry wit and world-wearyness he had
  19. The problem is that graphics of that level would make Crysis-esque rigs cry out in agony and melt like ILM's computers when rendering Devastator The whole point behind scaling the graphics down, which I wasn't too thrilled about but have come to accept, was to open the MM-part of the game to as many potential users as possible.
  20. True, that's a movie that even I won't touch. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some Too Human to play...
  21. Waaah! So mean! *sobs and loads up Daredevil to make the hurting go away*
  22. Yeah! Afterall, one is entertaining and the other is War & Peace
  23. It becomes even more terrorist-like when you remember their demands of putting a LulSec tophat in one of their victim's games. "Do this or we'll kill people" is pretty much standard terroist lingo, so if it fits...
