  1. What's the writing on the moulds in that last pic? Also, I love your super-sophisticated mould-boxes
  2. Directive 4 (Classified).
  3. QFT. I'm in the same boat, even the same age group, and I turned out alright. Of course, it wasn't until much later in life that I was able to see the movies, especially the first one, for the subversive expose on Corperate Life and corruption. Now that I see that for what it is, it makes it the quintessential cyberpunk flick Also? "Come quietly, or there will be... trouble."
  4. Because a soulless, unoriginal waste of footage (aka Avatar) sold over a billion dollars in movie tickets by being in 3D. No movie studio hack could look away from those dollar signs without trying to cash in.
  5. Engh. Hm. Haw. Urgh. Meh.
  6. I need some help. I'm trying to set up a home wi-fi network so I can use my iPad and PC at the same time (I know, trying to join the 2000s when it's 2011 already...). I bought a Linksys wireless-N router, went through all the connection/installation stuff, and my new network pops up on my Wi-Fi tab on my pad. I enter my password and it says that it can't connect. What am I doing wrong?
  7. While I'm not as violently opposed to this flick as some people on this board, even I have to admit that that was a pretty weak teaser. Why couldn't they have picked a better catch phrase, something more Conan-like?
  8. Which is a pity, since I consider SGU to be miles ahead of SGA. Atlantis started off strong but soon fell in love with the Big Red Reset Button and the devolved into a farsical slapstick comedy. SGU had me right from the cold opening of the first episode, and as soon as the sex scene aired in that first episode I knew we were in for a different ride than what had come before. Sadly, it falls on the sword of Syfy.
  9. That excuse might hold for some of the more obscure Transformers like Octane, Punch/Counterpunch, or maybe even the Headmasters. But to forget Skywarp? One of the original Seekers? For shame!
  10. ID4 has one thing going for it: Every other movie has the hero/human being killed or shrieking at the alien coming out of the mist. Here? "BAM Welcome to Earth!"
  11. And why do we want to do this mod?
  12. Informative! Interesting!
  13. Actually, we want to see a video diary of you making this beast...
  14. There's always some excuse with you, isn't there? I do agree with the rest of your post. Bruce might not have survived as-is in a modern MMA fight with all their rules and regulations, but give him some time to train before hand...
  15. Ah yes [finger quotes]reapers[/finger quotes]
  16. The same thing will happen with Batman despite the fact that Nolon is saying it's his last. When a flick makes a billion dollars at the box office, you can bet the studio will milk that for all it's worth. I also am sure that sooner or later we'll be seeing Avatar IV for the same reason.
  17. Kinda reminds me of Agent One's bitching when the first GI JOE images were released, asking us if Snake Eye's vents were wrong or if his hands were too small...
  18. And that's not a bad thing. I really enjoy their interpretation of the Rodimus Prime character over the MP version. Sure, the MP is a direct copy of the character, but FPs version just screams "bulky kick-ass leader", especially in robot mode. Robot-mode Rodimus is just Hot Rod stuck in a bench vice while FPs version is larger, bulkier, stronger-looking. He looks like a bot that could throw Galvatron out of Unicron's ass
  19. I've enjoyed both trailers quite a bit, but so far my favourite line is from the first one when Thor is laying on the ground after his arrival. "Oh no, this is Earth isn't it?". He says it with the same regard we would when we step in some dog crap and smear it all over our brand-new sneakers
  20. Ooh, me likey lotey
  21. That's why I hate teen week. That and Celebrity Jeopardy, yuck! And I will only accept Douglas Rain. Accept none other.
  22. I'm sorry Mog, I'm afraid I can't do that.
  23. I missed most of today's show, but I saw the dollar values at the end. Watson just absolutly crushed it's competition. I know some people are going to use this as an anti-technology excuse, but I think this is an amazing leap in computer useage. Yesterday they were talking about doctors being able to use natural language to confer with automated record-keeping machines for a second opinion, and now I wonder what other applications this technology will have in a few years. That being said, Douglas Rain and not Majel Roddenberry
